I need a new TV, my old Panasonic 10 years old was done. Now on forums loads of people say go to Richer Sounds you get a 6-year guarantee for one.
So, I bought a QLED Samsung, they even installed it and set it up for me. Had it five weeks on Friday, 11th October. Yesterday I suddenly get a pop up saying Samsung security had blocked a malware attack 50000001000000000000000000000001! I freaked out, how the hell could a TV have a malware attack? Got rid of the message asked online and freaked me out even more. People saying oh your apps will not work and your screen will go.
This morning I phoned Richer Sounds, explained and the service man knew what it was and calmed me down. It is a glitch and do not worry, but rather than just resetting the TV, they are sending out an engineer to put a new circuit board. They are doing it at my home, takes a few minutes and will reset the TV again. The part has been ordered, and the engineer will be with me before the end of the week.
Now, that is what I call service.
