She certainly is Artemis. I called her Topaz because of her colouring (and I borrowed it for my user name) and she is about 10/11 years old. I got her from a rescue centre in 1999 and they thought she was about 10 months old. She'd been found with 4 little kittens, either as a stray or she'd been abandoned. She's my pride and joy. How old is Chassis? I just adore Torties.

Chassis is three now. My friend and her husband were driving to Thessaloniki when the engine started making funny noises so they drove to the nearest garage. The mechanic fished out a month-old kitten, a bit singed but mainly very indignant! They already had 2 rescue cats and a very small flat so she came to us ~

We called her Chassis because it was car-related and calling her "Engine" would have been silly! I now have three cats rescued from car engines as kittens as well as one found in a neighbouring field!

She is absolutely stunning, she looks like the sphinx - tell her she has a big fan!! My Topaz lies in the same position on my bed, just in front of the pillow (and on the pillow, under the duvet.....wherever takes her fancy).
