I have some fake white lilies from Dunelm Mill and put them in a "silver" jug from T K Max, they always get admired when people come round and altho they do not look really real (as it were!) they do look good and are no where near as pricey as Peony stuff. I have also made an arrangement of an assortment of Dunelm fake blooms in a wicker umbrella stand and twined fairy lights in with them. Might not be to everyone's taste but I like it

I love that sort of thing and think it looks really striking, I'm not as artistic as you, but still think I could probably collect the bits and get it done at less cost. (Unless you'd like to pop round and do it for me silversequin, I do some good home baking and we could watch qvc over tea and cakes..lol)
