OPI application techniques please?

i cant get the caviar top coat to make polish last either,i do all the things mentioned here, sometimes i find putting sach vite or opi start to finish on and then caviar on top it seems to last slightly longer, the only thing that makes it stay put for 2 days is opi chip skip but it drys my nails out, which isnt good as they then peel. ive just given up decided ive just got stupid nails lol and no polish will last on me

I bought a bottle of OPI's Chip Skip in desperation a couple of months ago but I have to say that I have noticed no differfence whatsoever in using it...it still chips the day after most of the time

I really wonder what the solution to get your colour to stay is...

I also find that "wrapping the tips" also helps polish last longer. That means you take the polish along the top of the nail and over the tip and under.

No, don't think one is due, was just a general enquiry sparked off the thread.

After reading some good reviews on the internet I have ordered a bottle of Seche Vite top coat to see if that makes my polish last any longer...
