La Franklin, and now Claire as well as Claudia use this to address T-callers. I find this condescending, offensive and plain ignorant.:(:p
 
I also find it very patronising when a caller phones in and then the presenter says Ah bless her after they have spoken.

Julia does this a lot.

Anne Dawson does it too - it's so patronising, well - I dunno actually, said by the right person in the right way it isn't, but when done on there by them it sounds cringemakingly awful...
 
:D Every time I hear Jill say that phrase, Golum ( Lord of the Rings) springs to mind..I know it's ~my precious~ with him but... .mmm :rolleyes: ;) :p

Yeah, I know what you mean... yet, maybe I'm just an old softy (or, arguably, soft in the head!) but I don't really mind this sort of language!
