Morning Style with Yong Kim

I know its been debated many times but I still can't get the Yong Kim style.What on earth is Jackie Kabler wearing this morning.....Lesley Ebbetts has just described YK garments as "sophisticated ". to me they look a mess. Sorry for people who love it but I don't get it.....

I tell you what, though - I think Lesley Ebbetts would be a much better guest for YK than Ingrid Tarrant! She explains things much better. I was almost thinking I should have another try with YK. I suspect however that even if I was as thin as a rail, there's something about the style that just doesn't suit me as a person and personality.

I don't get it either, the clothes look tatty to me, they look cheap, I am sure the fabric is excellent quality ... it must be for that price, but I would never pay anything like that for a garment which looks to me like it needs a good iron and anyway is only something I would wear to do my housework in. Nothing against the people who do like it. I must admit Ingrid does suit the clothes, it just doesn't appeal to me.

I have a local shop where they sell clothes very similar to Yong Kim - I quite often go in just to look at them, and wonder at the mystery of it all. I just stare at them thinking how god awful they look. I know some on here like the range, but it is not for me.

There is many a time I have been in a shop selling clothing and think how disgusting the clothes are. However as the shops are selling the clothes I assume people must be buying them!

there was an episode of harry hill tv burp on uk gold the other day, which showed Ingrid Tarrant putting fish (in tin foil) in the dishwasher to cook it for some show she was on.

thought some of you might appreciate that as she seems such a wonderful person of great talent.

Imo it was a real dreadful show this morning, I didn't see one piece that I would wear for a bet. Lesley and Jackie K looked like bag ladies...lol

And where was Kathy Tayler? I haven't seen her for weeks. I wonder if they may rebrand it. Morning Style Without Kathy. I think she's done one out of four.

I think someone said Kathy is not well at the moment.Hope she is better soon but at least she didn't have to wear a Yong Kim piece.I have yet to see anyone(including the models) who look good in anything from this range.

Tell you what they must have a brilliant, flexible holiday/sick pay scheme, they're hardly ever in, Chloe "sick note" Everton is off every few months, but Kathy Tayler may well steel her crown, Kathy was off on holiday, then off for her daughters graduation., then off on holiday in their motor home .......back in for a day.....then off sick, nice work if you can get it eh, I only know this because every time I channel hop, she's never there.

I can't imagine a lifestyle that would suit Yong Kim clothes, but maybe that's because to me they just look messy and dishevelled.

I remember watching this originally! Ingrid was on Celebrity Come Dine With Me! Apparently she puts her whole salmon in tin foil and steams it in her dishwasher yuck! What a scruffy minger!

I think the YK clothes have too much fabric that drapes in an unstructured way. I can't think of any body-shape that could show the clothes well. I actually liked one item this morning, a swing-back top in a marl fabric navy or grey. But it was about £150. I could buy something far nicer from Selfridges or Harvey Nichs for that money.

Kathy was doing morning style last week, she was wearing a black jumpsuit and she looked quite smart.She said she doesn't do jump suits but agreed to try it. It looked far better than some of the huge floral things she's usually made to wear.
