More on "so much for falling auctions"

Firstly "hello" :hi:- as I am new here (new to posting, though I've been reading the forum with interest for many months).

Just wanted to post how chuffing annoyed I am regarding this "genuine reverse auction" hoo-ha - when Lucy said at 10.32 tonight (when a white & black rutile quartz bracelet was not selling fast enough at £34), that they would sit there all night until it sold!! And I know Carol said something very similar recently, as mentioned on another post.

It makes such a mockery of the supposed spirit of the live reverse auction when the presenters come out with this sort of drivvel.

Still - I was lucky I heard it really - I usually watch Lucy with the sound off, as so many others do! :grin:

and i do agree with you about the auctions not in the spirit of the game at all is it

i liked it when it was
no matter where you enter the game everyone pays the final low price
and
the price will keep on falling until everything is sold

Having said this, yesterday with Lynn Jinks this was very much the case
