Had gnasher drilled away at dentist this am - swear he went far enough to strike oil- and have a temporary crown over Easter. Feels as if it will fall out VERY easily. Salivating looking at biscuits as all unnecessary nosh off menu.

I would never buy biccies at those prices BUT my guess is they are Christmas leftovers and they never mention sell by dates do they???

That would explain the clearance prices.

I was in Tesco's this afternoon and saw Destrooper Butter crisps 100g for £1.15, didn't realise they were being sold on QVC, next time I'm in Tesco's I'll get a packet and try them at their price it's well within my price range LOL.

i am partial to a florentine, but resisted the 30 quid plus 5.05 price tag as i would just eat them all.

if i had a dinner party and served a ball of ice cream boxed in by 4 biscuits that look like they came from ALDI, as suggested by the guest, my friends would rip me to shreds.

Yes, & on the Lindt clearance they had recently (Daniel & Jill presenting),Jill said the use by date was June 2009 on them!!

The Lindt chocs definitely aren't worth it, so many of the supermarkets have special offers on them every so often, like after Valentine's Day for example!
Morrison's had the bigger Lindor cartons (that cost 5 pound something) recently on a BOGOF for both the gold mixed & the red milk, so we had some of those!
