Had gnasher drilled away at dentist this am - swear he went far enough to strike oil- and have a temporary crown over Easter. Feels as if it will fall out VERY easily. Salivating looking at biscuits as all unnecessary nosh off menu.

I would never buy biccies at those prices BUT my guess is they are Christmas leftovers and they never mention sell by dates do they???
That would explain the clearance prices.

Humm credit crunch that little thing QVC are oblivious to. If you watch too much QVC, you can actually forget the country is in recession!

TopCat that sounds like my kind of biccie - I'm usually a Cadbury girl myself but I might just get myself down to Asda! :) Tell me, are the choc chips made from Belgian Chocolate, hand made by artisans with centuries of experience? (Snigger)

D'ya mean old peeps? <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D15%252F15%255F4%255F122%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_4_122.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D15%252F15_4_122%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a>

Freudian slip there, I think, Jasper :) I didn't watch the show, is there a real Jules Destrooper or is he made up like Aunt Bessy and Mr Kipling?

The similar thread on previous beauty items reminds me - we haven't seen much of Marco Pierre White on QVC recently have we? No matter, Hell's Kitchen's back soon :3:

:28: ahem....Mr Kipling most certainly does exist cos i sleep with him on a regular basis.

Could you imagine Claire and CHuntley doing a food show! Specsavers would be having a field day.:22:

the fact that all the biccies were at clearance prices said a lot i think.

i am partial to a florentine, but resisted the 30 quid plus 5.05 price tag as i would just eat them all.

if i had a dinner party and served a ball of ice cream boxed in by 4 biscuits that look like they came from ALDI, as suggested by the guest, my friends would rip me to shreds.

daniel green will be doing some food shows i am told they are going to be more healthy eating driven. this sounds a bit more interesting than stodgy, overpriced cakes, pies, biscuits and chocs....

Yes, that would be a nice change but how much are they going to charge to send a salad through the post? :D

The Lindt chocs definitely aren't worth it, so many of the supermarkets have special offers on them every so often, like after Valentine's Day for example!
Morrison's had the bigger Lindor cartons (that cost 5 pound something) recently on a BOGOF for both the gold mixed & the red milk, so we had some of those!
