You sound like a really good gift giver. I mention things in passing to my mum when we are out and about and am always amazed that she picks up on things and gets the best Christmas/Birthday gifts ever, and I am honestly never hinting either.

Fingers crossed your Mum loves the Zesty Lime!

hehe we like to give something that we know the other person would like & dont mind spending a bit more to do just that & to get good value too

Neither of these are for me. I don't like Verbena and the Almond one reminds me of marzipan. It will be interesting to see what they bring out for Christmas.

I ordered the Fresh option, want to try the Shea Lime Handcream.

I think you will like it if you like the smell of your hands after cutting limes. It is a very accurate scent.

I went on a fact finding mission to the l'occitaine shop the other day to check out the goods before I bought the TSV. The lime is gorgeous.

Boring, Boring, Boring.

Last month Escentual had 25% off all products including L'Occitane. Make your own collection and I bet it would work out cheaper. I bought the L'Occitane foot cream

My days of buying masses of shower gels etc from QVC for an arm and a leg are long gone. We are still using the litre of Jason tea tree for £9.50, with all of us using it at least once a day, much more sensible, and it's a lovely product, natural, smells good, kind to the skin:mysmilie_59:

I can`t remember the last time I bought a L`Occitane tsv, it must be a long time ago. My youngest son bought me a set of their shea products last Christmas and there`s still a couple of items I haven`t yet used from it.
A huge bottle of ABC bodywash sees me through the whole Summer and in Winter I move over to a more oil based bodywash. I buy organic olive oil soap or goats milk soap off Ebay and lots of stuff from the Naturally Thinking website so I never even look at L`Occitane anymore. I must admit their footcream is still the best but a goatsmilk body butter I buy off Ebay comes a close second and has shea butter in it too. Costs £4.50 including p and p so its quids in.

The last one l bought was last years Christmas TSV. Well l bought it for my husband to give to me!!!! I think L'Occitanes TSVs have been very boring lately. Seriously how much liquid soap do they think we need? It's only me that uses it, my husband uses a radox one, he says the L'Occitane liquid soaps 'absolutely stink awful'. Therefore it takes me an age to get through one of their dispensers! I hope the Christmas one will have some nice bath products in.

That's really cheap Vienna I may have to look for it,thanks.

Well this TSV hasn't exactly set the forum alight. L'Occitane TSV's used to be worth staying till midnight for and there would be much excitement on here for ages before they were due to air.

Never bought L'Occitane for myself and this didn't tempt me. I do find Alexis a bit smug as well so I wasn't really listening either. Money still in the purse.

I think all the "big" TSV brands are struggling to come in at a price that makes them money and keeps QVC happy. Result is that we are getting more of the cheaper products, hyped up as supersizes, and increasingly in limited options. With a number of brands it's now fairly easy to predict what the contents of the TSVs will be well in advance. There's precious little innovation involved... and when there is (like the teeny tiny handcreams with matching perfumes) they backfire, because they are patently not very good value for money. It's a shame, because the likelihood of them playing even safer increases. Eventually they're going to have to increase the price and take more of a chance in what they offer - like give us a chance of a proper skincare TSV from L'Occitane (and maybe allow Philosophy to do a skincare TSV too) rather than keep them penned into the bath and body slot.

l'occitane tsv's used to be fab when l'0ccitane first launched with a lot of variety. skincare, bathing products, body lotion from differing ranges etc. now i think they will sell the regular lines they dont have to bother with great tsv's. i bought this one because i needed/wanted three of the full size products. most of the tsv's have not been that great

I agree, I bought this TSV not because it excited me t o try new products, but simply because it was good value to buy with items that I use regularly - but I suppose that is also what a TSV is all about - VALUE

Me too. I went for the warm option and know I will use every bit of it up, I would have liked this on auto delivery, I know that would mean no easy pay but I would have liked a set every say three months with different scents

Well I bought 4 of the fresh and my mother bought 4 of the warm, so we're going to have 2 of each - we saved postage by buying it this way - so this should keep us going for a year !:mysmilie_14::mysmilie_14::mysmilie_14:

Just taken delivery of my TSV.:mysmilie_8:

Me too. Not opened it yet though, will wait until I get home tonight.

As luck would have it, my Molton Brown hand wash ran out in our ensuite this morning, so the Sweet Almond will be going straight in there. The rest of the collection I will use (and do use regularly), but I don't need just yet, so they will go on the shelve waiting patiently.

I can`t remember the last time I bought a L`Occitane tsv...

I love L'Occitane, but this is the first TSV I have bought in 2 years. I have pretty much used all my stock now and have been buying from the store when I want to try the limit additions etc.

Yeah it is Marie Claire magazine. I think it is the November issue (out October) and I think this year there will be a choice of 7 scents to choose from.

Yes you are right, it is Marie Claire.

I don't mind buying 2/3 of the magazines, because the cost of them doesn't equate to the hand creams rrp, but 7 to choose from, surely that will? Can you remember how much Marie Claire is to buy please? Thanks.
