Stay with what you like and works for you ClaireKelly. I haven’t tried the Superdrug one and I prefer the original Aldi to the Rose one although I could use either.

that is excatly how i do it, stick to what works if you find something you love then use it dont worry about what others say or think & pressure you into changing for other reasons ect

I haven’t seen anyone pressuring anybody so that’s out of order. All I see is similar to what I do, give people options to save a few quid for exactly the same thing and if that’s pressuring anyone, I’ll stop doing it, it’s just why when money is tight for most people (not me I’m lucky in that respect) but when money is tight for a lot of people isn’t it good that people know there are things out there for £5 that QVC named brands charge £35 for so they don’t feel they’re missing out because they can’t afford it? I’d like to think people on here are adults and can make their own minds up, but at least they know they have a choice when made aware of cheaper products out there that are the same, if not better .

I love to read all the recommendations on here and I have followed some of them up to my benefit. There is no pressure we are talking small fry here and even with a bigger decision I am an immovable force as fraudsters pretending to me from my bank have found! I hate to see people sucked into paying out their hard earned money for fake goods which are potentially harmful.

I think Supercool is exactly right when I think about the LE sets/TSVs I've bought in the past. Body cream is the thing I use the least - I've still got those huge tubes from yonks ago which I'm using up as hand cream. If it's hair products then I don't use conditioner and I give it all away to friends. I personally would love a hand wash hand cream set as I love the rock rose one but it won't sell so I'll just have to buy individually myself.

I love the body cream! But it is a treat, as it’s not cheap. They will offer the sets that sell, and if the body stuff lowers sales then obviously that will influence their choice. Liz Earle usually does a 30% off sale nearer Christmas so I will stock up in body products then

I agree with sticking with something you love, but I don’t think anyone is pressuring anyone else to use or not use products. Neither would I worry about what anyone else says! We all have different skin, and will suit different products. It’s very handy to hear of different products that are out there, often at a fraction of the price of branded products sold on qvc. No pressure, no criticism, just friendly discussion.

i think everyone has misinturpted what i said as i meant elsewhere ive seen people pressuring others to change (i didnt mention on here)

You didn’t have to mention here, it’s here we are, here we’re talking about products so we can safely assume, here is were you meant.

Thanks Claire, I’d hate to think anyone felt pressured by anything, you’ve expressed what I wanted to say perfectly, you’re a little love. 😘🥰❤️ xx

Yes, I think we have! Glad we’ve cleared that up!
And I do agree, there can be enormous pressure to wear the right label, use the ‘in’ perfume etc. I’m far too old to be worried what anyone thinks of me these days! Not that I ever did..... 😂

That’s a very nice comment to post.... thank you, I really appreciate it xx 😘

I remember a certain amount of pressure in my youth to look a certain way ( or try) but put down to the industry I was working in.That is one good point of getting older we don’t care what anyone thinks anymore, we do as we like!

Well I’m stocked up from Aldi but haven’t managed the Vit C one which I would have liked at least one tube.
I‘ve a large Emma Hardie balm and a travel size from M&S one from the advent calendar plus another with an order so that’s gone to DD in London.
Plus I’ve an Elemis facial wash but find that drying so will be using as and when skin condition requires it.
Face creams I’ve Elemis ones and M&S own brand ones plus ones from their advent calendar.
As for LE body I have moved on to the body C&P and the body balm, which I’m stocked with.
I hope all those who find the TSV useful for them order and enjoy.
But all in all this TSV is not one bit of good for me.

Just wondering about the price of this now....... the body products will push the price up. The body wash and cream would be £35 alone to buy, and with two 200ml C&P this is not going to be around the £50 price!
Hopefully it will go in pre buy.

Also noticed that LE has the Christmas sets out. And they are also out in boots, although not so many. Worth thinking about with the extra points offers that start coming out at this time of year...l

I agree, and the Aldi Hot Cloth Cleanser is actually more natural than the “naturally active” one and it’s absolutely gorgeous. 🥰
Shopps is absolutely right, but I will caveat, having used both (on myself & fussy Mr B) that the LE suits oily skin far better than Aldis'. Not sure if Aldis' contains hops, which are good for oily skin.
