It's really strange but I would never go for a celeb endorsed perfume, wouldn't even want to smell it, but recently I was given a bottle of J-Lo Glow and I really like it. Our son's girlfriend came around last night and she was wafting a gorgeous smell around everywhere she went, I asked her what it was.........Paris Hilton!!!:cheeky::cheeky:

I wear various scents, depending on my mood (however, I don't like Angel, but that is purely personal preference).
I like Pure, Inner and Baby Grace (Philosophy)
Allure (Chanel)
and a cheap and cheery M&S scent called Autograph!!!

I really love L'Occitane Eau D'Iparie, it's stunning, very spicy and warm with incense and patchouli, my absolute favourite, but I bet they soon stop making it because they only seem to stock small bottles now:sad:

Thanks, Donna. Might be a no for me then. Perhaps further down the line No2 (surely she won't call it that!) will be a lighter summery version.

If you have a "Lush" shop near to you go in and try the "Karma" perfume.You will indeed know what patchouli smells like.:flower::cheeky:

I don't mind the soap, but as you put it-it is a bit "heady"

I will say that LE is using high grade ingredients hence part of the cost, which has surprised many. Also as I said before she has employed a proper nose(thats a perfumer), to create this fragance. I get the idea many expected it to be a body spray ultra light Philsosphy fragrance style. I call these perfumes for people who do not really like or cannot wear real fragrance.

What she has done and wanted is a real grown up classic fragrance using costly natural oils and ingredients. If LE is doing this then the next fragrance No 2? Will be in the same vein a classic in the French style. Look at Jo Malone, she started as a facialist with some skincare and now is known more for her colognes which are proper classic style fragrances. From the fact LE has now started creating more expensive face and body products. I will say the introduction of fragrances is following this trend, a higher end more exclusive range and her normal everyday younger range( the original one).

I receive a promotional email from LE about the new fragrance. It states, amongst other things, that the expert skills of a distinguished perfumer from Grasse have been used. This alone has clinched the deal for me. Can't wait to order...

I loved mine though. I bought it from Piccadilly Circus and wore it til it fell apart (decomposed more like!).lol!

Oh My Goodness!!!! I had 2, I adored them, but boy did they stink!!!!
My dear, late dad wouldn't let me have one, but one day when I was 16 my big sis and I went off to Scotland on holiday, well I found the Afghan coat of my dreams, so I just had to buy it. I'll NEVER forget the look on dad's face when we stepped off the train with me dolled up in my new coat:cheeky: It was 1973, the best years ever. The coat was green and orange embroidery on a brown background. Later on I aquired another one on loan from a bloke I was crazy about, he never had it back and mum and dad used to make me keep it in the boot of the car because it stank soooooo much. Happy days:flower:
Also, I used to drench myself in patchouli oil and still try and always buy patchouli based perfumes:hi:
