Meh! Not impressed with - products - price - presenters - makeup artist - presentation - models. Her daughter, Lily, has been mentioned umpteen times, pity the other model - they look about 16. Alison and LE talking over each other, telling each other to remain calm and carry on. Yeah, really professional, not! Only good thing, am feeling quite smug that LE has age spots on her hands, and I don't. Ain't I 'orrible?!?

Have to agree Snarly, I tuned in just to see "whats new" but I have to say there was nothing inovative or exciting at all imo. Dont really know what the selling point is with this range - you know what I mean - Bare Escentuals being pure minerals, Laura geller and her baked products, mally and her last all day make up. Not sure about Liz's - I dont really want to be negative but it just looked like any old make up you could buy from an avon catalogue or on the dreaded high street. I didnt even hear her say that it was all natural products or anything, but I could be wrong because I zoned out after a while and started to do dinner! Nothing special, but lets wait for the reviews!

I think LE is 48 and her daughter is 21. I snooped on line. I think I saw wedding rings on the girl's hand, but she sure is fresh-faced. I thought the makeup looked sheer but it will be interesting once the 'true' reviews come in. Time for QI not Q, a show that does specialise in the truth. miaow!

I really wanted to ring in to the studio and ask 'are these products tested on animals', but that's probably just my Machiavellian side coming out! i just want to see what she would say!

LE is about my age them. Showing the same signs of age. Slight loss of definition around the jaw, nothing too extreme. The top lip going. Touch crepey on the eyelids. That sort of thing. I don't have age spots as yet. I'm compelled to say she looks good for her age! Not especially young or well preserved though considering the benefits of using her own expensive stuff.

I wasn't really impressed by what was on offer at all. Just seemed like ordinary make up you can buy anywhere tbh. I got the samples of the tinted moisturiser and not going for that - too greasy and nothing special. I really want to try the Illamasqua and Laura Mercier brands of make up, but as yet I've been unable to obtain samples from anyone (no shops stocking these near me !) so my search goes on for my perfect tinted moisturiser!

I don't think she's had any major work done if any at all. She's just not perfect enough. She's a pretty woman who has the wherewithal to look after her skin. She's got lines around her eyes and mouth and her jawline could be on the slide. She looks quite youthful though because she has those big round eyes and chubby cheeks.

I'm not knocking her here although it looks like I am when I'm supposed to be defending her. I'm just saying that she has natural signs of ageing that wouldn't be there if she had been under the knife.

Liz isn't even that old!!

I wonder what we'd think of each other if we weren't anonymous. Who would be labelled as having had work done.

So did she sell to Avon so that they would help develop make up products?
If we all think Avon is 'cheap' and questionable about animal testing,why would she sell out to them? Didn't she have any better offers?? Did she need money quickly??
I also understand Kim(?) her partner is moving on.

I only saw one item it was eye pencil and mascara at almost thirty pounds, what a rip off I don't know how anyone can pay that price for such an item. The gullibility of some women never ceases to amaze me.

Had a quick look on facebook QVC page. Oh dear Liz Earle fans are getting quite rabid over the whole thing. Some even using UPPERCASE to reply!:angry: LOL

One even pointing out that Smashbox is really Max Factor, the guys that started it were his grandsons. Er, actually Estee Lauder owns it and Max Factor has not been owned by any of the family since I believe the fifties or sixties.

The only item I was interested in was the loose face powder
which came with the sheer tint, I already have the sheer tint and really like
it but wanted to hear about the loose powder but they didnt talk about it
they just talked about the colours of the sheer tint even though it was included in other kits

The loose face powder has Talc, some not happy about that one. Its a cheap ingredient.

Just to reassure you...

I bought the Finishing Powder a couple of weeks ago and have been very pleased with it. I had been using Smashbox Halo for a couple of years but recently the product seems to have changed and I wasn't happy with the results (it now seemed to be very "claggy").

I am currently using the Finishing Powder over a make-up primer and that's it. I find that it provides good coverage for a natural, daytime look. The powder itself is lovely and gives an even finish. Obviously it's designed to be used in conjunction with Sheer Skin Tint or another foundation but I have found that it works very well for me just on its own. The powder brush is fantastic - very soft but does the job really well.

I have a number of other products from the new range and like them all. The eye pencil is easy to use and stays put. The eyelash treatment product is excellent. My lashes are short and fine but when I use the treatment ahead of two coats of the mascara I get the best results ever. The lip glosses are probably my favourite. They aren't at all sticky or gloopy and provide a lovely sheer coverage.

In general I would say that this range isn't the cheapest around but the products do deliver.
