Lisa Brash - the ideal bid customer

On Saturday night she bought a dress live on air. Last night, at about 12:45 am, she went to buy another dress but missed out, so she bought the next item which was bedding (£9.99 + P&P) and then she bought the next item - set of 2 pillows (£5.99 + P&P). She then said "I'm going to have to buy the next item to get my £10 free credit...I'd be silly not to", and she ended up buying a Buddha! (£9.99 + P&P)!

Just typical of Lisa, but this is exactly why bid does the £10 credit promo. Would Lisa have bought the Buddha if she wasn't getting a voucher? Of course not!

She then said "Now I can wait for the dress to come back on and use my £10 voucher on it." Let's hope she knows about the dates which she can use it and how she can redeem it

Lisa is giving it loads again about her 'background in art'.

She usefully said 'I do have credentials where I can ACTUALLY comment on Artwork because I did work in one of the biggest and finest Art Galleries in the UK, I actually managed it. So I was trained in, erm, you know, I, I was trained to erm, have a eye for art'.

Well that's cleared that up then, i'm sorry I ever doubted her credentials.

She even said (possibly referring to us) that she has read some comments on forums about art but stressed you don't have to be posh to be an expert.

You don't have to be posh, of course not. But I think it takes a bit more than managing a gallery in Newcastle for a few months to really learn the trade :grin:

I feel they both have individual strengths.

Lisa demonstrates a clear affinity with surrealism, I understand she specialised in the works of Dali and Rousseau. It has been said the London Evening Standard Art Critic Brian Sewell often asks her to comment as he relies on her less conservative view.

Steve on the other hand clearly leans towards cubism.
