Just spotted this on the exhibitors list, might buy a pie and see whay they are like,:mysmilie_17:

They have been there in the past but weren't there last time. My sister bought a couple of the pies at a previous show, I think there was a deal when you bought four and she bought a couple and two friends got one each. The one I had was lovely (chicken and something else) but she wasn't as keen on the one she had.

I have bought the pies meat and fruit and I thought they were nice.

They have a stall at the farmers' market here, I tried a free sample, it was yum. Didn't buy one tho' but might if there are there next time. Wouldn't buy them off QVC.

we had them from QVC, well filled but not terribly tasty and the pastry very dry. Needed an avalanche of onion gravy!

I bought direct from them many years ago and then picked one up from a Garden Centre before Christmas but I don't think the quality is as good now so if I don't make my own I buy from the local butcher's wife - her steak pies are full of tender meat with the most delicious gravy.
