Hi Ladies hope you don't mind me jumping in but i really need a bit of help.
My daughter is getting married in october and i will need a complete set of make up as i don't wear any at all right now due to skin problems (i have p.c.o.s and it causes faical hair) but will need to be made up for her big day.
I need something that does not feel like i am wearing much foundation but with a bit of coverage and the other bit as well eyeshadow, lippy etc. I have dark hair brown eyes and will be wearing cream and a bit of red.
Any suggestion would be great as i was tempted to oder the TSV but see some think it's not great value.
Thank you so much
Hiya Freedom,
I'm one of the peeps who doesn't think this TSV is very good value. LG has done quite similar mini kits like this for £18 -23 before.
But you make very good use your 30 day money back guarantee and try it out but that will cost you about £8 just to try it out. (If you do, take pics. I'e known Balance and Brighten to look a little odd in photos.)
Have you tried any Mineral Make up such as Bare Escentuals? My bestest friend has PCOS and she swears by it. because you buff it on with a brush it works better for her when she's a bit fluffy faced.
Mineral Make up can look very natural in person and won't flare in photos like LG Balance and brighten can cos it's a bit shiny.
There's a site called Everyday Minerals who will send you free samples if you wanted to try Mineral make up out. You just have to pay postage. (I promise I don't work for them - it's just a great offer!

You will need a brush to apply the foundation and powder and they have lovely brushes at EM too, or you could pluck up a BE Flawless Face brush on the well known auction site that I'm not sure if we're allowed to name!
Other than that you could pop to a Bobbi Brown counter to see if they can help you find the perfect base for your skin then choose some eye make up and lippie in Boots.
(Although that might work out a bit of an expensive option if you don't wear make up as a rule.)
Ooh another brainwave! Is your daughter getting her make up done by a professional on the day? Cos if she is then you could get the make up artist to do
your face as well and then it will be her problem to find suitable products!
Ok, that's all I've got!
