as for the cropped trousers with ruched hem detail ! They looked more like cropped long-johns on the models and the "camel-toe" was very obvious - verging on the obscene. They could at least get the models to wear longer tops to hide that area, the tops they did wear ended an inch above which drew the eye in. Not a good look even on the models with their lovely toned and smooth bods.
IMO the TSV is very old fashioned with those sleeves which I can't see would flatter any size/age. My mum is 88 but she would never wear it - just not stylish enough (the top, not my mum !) When mum was in her 40's her most prized possession was an olive-green boucle wool suit from Jaeger - it lasted and looked like new for years. As for buying the matching skirt to get the look of a dress - around the £70 mark ? I can choose from a good selection of dresses on my high street for that much and less - M&S, Monsoon, Debenhams, Next and for an occasion there's Jacques Vert, Planet and Elvi/Anne Harvey (can't remember which but they have a good range for larger women like me).
QVC always disappoint me with the fashion, although obviously it sells well so it must suit lots of women.
