Kim&co TSV

I had to laugh when Joy came out in a dress obviously too small for her, I think Kim was a bit taken aback as she asked what size she had on - it was a medium! Mmmmm this lady takes an XL so why squeeze her into a medium? Debbie did try to convince everyone that size is inmaterial in Kim's range but this dress just showed every lump and bump Joy has, poor girl.

It made her look as though she was 6months pregnant.

I have to say that on my travels, I have only seen Kim & Co on ONE person (that was a pair of patterned trousers on a cruise) - SO I think that 'Kim' wearers are like "secret lemonade drinkers" they only come out at night !!!!!!!

Take a cruise around to Birchwood, you'll see far more than ONE.

ooooo...well spotted frazzled

hooded claw - come baaaaaaaaaack :mysmilie_843:

as for the cropped trousers with ruched hem detail ! They looked more like cropped long-johns on the models and the "camel-toe" was very obvious - verging on the obscene. They could at least get the models to wear longer tops to hide that area, the tops they did wear ended an inch above which drew the eye in. Not a good look even on the models with their lovely toned and smooth bods.
IMO the TSV is very old fashioned with those sleeves which I can't see would flatter any size/age. My mum is 88 but she would never wear it - just not stylish enough (the top, not my mum !) When mum was in her 40's her most prized possession was an olive-green boucle wool suit from Jaeger - it lasted and looked like new for years. As for buying the matching skirt to get the look of a dress - around the £70 mark ? I can choose from a good selection of dresses on my high street for that much and less - M&S, Monsoon, Debenhams, Next and for an occasion there's Jacques Vert, Planet and Elvi/Anne Harvey (can't remember which but they have a good range for larger women like me).

QVC always disappoint me with the fashion, although obviously it sells well so it must suit lots of women.

Maybe QVC should include these with every purchase?

I DO wish Joy would wear a larger size - if ever there was a case of "does my bum look big in this ?" - well, sweetheart, sadly YES !

Let's be honest here. The 3xl will probably stretch to cover a size 20 but that size doesn't look good with clingy, shiney material stretched over it. Perhaps they could come up with a range suitable for the fuller figure and call the sizing Grande 1, 2, and 3

I think kims clothes are just awful.

I do have some of her black trousers.I bought them to be "smart but comfy" - but in all honesty they are too big and too shiny.I even had a colleague ask me on their second and last outing "OMG what are you wearing??!!"

Having said that,I do have to stand by,I bought my 90 yr old nana a wrap dress with sleeves and its honestly the best thing I've ever seen her wear.

I do think some of the models look nice in her stuff.Jane-Catherine (?) had on a leopard (urgh!) top and straight skirt earlier with a wide belt and nude heels and she looked fab......and I think you do have to be tiny-weeny,model proportioned to stand a chance of looking ok in the stuff

Enough said I think.

I don't think it helps that the TV adds pounds and inches to people. I thought the TSV was awful - even the tiny models looked normal size in it. So unflattering.
I own some Kim & Co - in fact I am wearing a Kim & Co ruby red top (bought about 10 years ago!) in my avatar photo! I mostly wear plain pieces for work because it's comfortable and doesn't need ironing.

I agree, the TSV was awful....Not quite as bad as one of Michele Hope's offerings...but not far off it tbh! I also agree that DF look horrendous, she can't have checked her reflection before she went on air as I'm sure she'd at the very least opted to wear a different "colourway" as the green was totally the wrong colour for her hair and complexion. The outfit was frankly too small for her and made her look fat as opposed to the curvy woman that she is. Kim of course looked fantastic, and even when she came out wearing a top in that ghastly green and a bright pink skirt she didn't look THAT bad!

Funny how different we all are as I thought the colour went great with her hair and complexion, it was the size that bugged me and the bumps and lumps that sort off were clinged too IYKWIM

£44.50 for a pair of cropped trousers:sad: I got three pairs with elasticated waist in M&S last summer for around £12 each. The price what is charged for her tat is just ludicrous & she must be having a good laugh at the idiots that buy it.

I do think her prices are a bit steep. Bought a maxi dress is various colours ( some would say garish) from Per Una ( well I LOVE colours ) and I only paid £38, plus I had it straight away, no waiting for 5 - 7 working day delivery. The ones from Kim were all about the £50 mark

spelling, fingers are hitting key's they are not meant to

I liked that yellow top that sold out pretty darn quick! It looked amazing on Sharon.
