Far from an unknown name: anywhere, but a friend of mine in the US mentioned her so I eventually watched an episode of hers from 1963, I think. Ye Gods, that voice of hers was grating. BUT, I persevered and on the second episode I saw, the voice didn't annoy me. And now, she's a favourite of mine. The only trouble is, I watch the shows and have questions, but of course, I can't ask her can I? But seriously, she's worth watching and it's interesting to see 'how' things were done in the old days.

Tripes à la môde.
No thanks!
I actually looked at that one. Not a lover of tripe either. Not gonna attempt to cook anything, but looking at it, she does make it, not necessarily simple, but understandable enough to 'want' to cook the items. (If you have the patience to cook from scratch). And, TBH, I didn't realise a Soufflé was as easy to make as it is. Again, not tried to make one ;)

I don't have that channel it was on, but saw the first episode of it on YouTube. It held my attention, but can't find the rest of it :(
I you look up "Julia" with Sarah Lancashire, it's on Prime, HBO Max, Sky Atlantic, according to my search.

Hmmm, looks a bit "old fashioned recipes" to me. If I want those, I'll use my Mum's 60/70 cookbooks.
Sure they can be tasty or classics, like soufflé, but I'll pass this time.
