Far from an unknown name: anywhere, but a friend of mine in the US mentioned her so I eventually watched an episode of hers from 1963, I think. Ye Gods, that voice of hers was grating. BUT, I persevered and on the second episode I saw, the voice didn't annoy me. And now, she's a favourite of mine. The only trouble is, I watch the shows and have questions, but of course, I can't ask her can I? But seriously, she's worth watching and it's interesting to see 'how' things were done in the old days.
