If it's a keeper I'll definitely consider dusting off my sewing machine; I used to make loads when I was at school, in the sixth form at my school we had to fill our timetable so I did sewing and threw together a new outfit for every weekend thanks to this and good old Bond Street Fabrics (in Blackpool), the last time I went in a fabric shop I was shocked at the prices (curse World Book Day when my kids were little!)

I'm ashamed to admit I bought an overlocker many years ago and have never used it! :mysmilie_514: Shocking!

PS I found a Join OTO 127598 but don't fancy it: http://www.qvcuk.com/Join-Clothes-C...l?sc=NVSTROI&cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_-24-_-127598

All colours either sold out or on wait list. Not for me as I am a slim 6ft. The guest presenter looks swamped in it and I am pretty sure that is what will happen to me. I look better in fitted clothes.

I didnt go for it in the end as I am also slim and would be swamped.Having said that I like the style and can see why it's popular.

A shame to cover a slender tall frame in it, it didn't suit AK. Thought the dip at the back was too long but liked the crotch covering front, we've all seen horrors there!

An overlocker is EXACTLY what you need for sewing up a jersey top such as this. It'll be done in a jiffy, I promise. Be brave and dust her off!

I didn't think anyone looked good in this item-very unflattering in my opinion.

It's what my daughter calls a "Muumuu"- a shapeless garment that covers all!!

The one size thing doesn't work for skinny people ,but saves lots of money for the manufacturers not having to produce fixed sizes.

i am a size 20 5 8" and i like some of the join tops. lovely fabrics mostly some not so nice though
