R.I. P Joan.

Never ever wanted to buy her jewellery for myself as a guy, but used to watch her hours as she was amusing, and would sometimes come out with something random.

On her jewellery must have been about 10 years ago, maybe on the Apollo show the BBC do.

Joan rivers joked about the crap jewellery which she produced for QVC.

She was one of those people you think will be around for ever. Sad to hear of her passing. I loved that you never knew what she would come out with, next. She will certainly be missed.

I'm really sorry to hear this. Joan was so funny and vibrant and connected with lots of people. I suppose it's a mercy that she went quickly while still at the top of her game.

So shocked & sad to hear this. She did seem indestructible & such a larger than life personality amongst so much celebrity dross. RIP Joan, you will be greatly missed.

Dale Franklin did report it live on QVC during a Kim & Co hour. (Kim suppressed her giggling for all of 5 minutes)
For me, when I think of Joan on air at the old QVC towers, I think of this.

Now both gone, not forgotten. RIP Steve RIP Joan ....

End of an era!

Never watched her on QVC as have only watched a few months but did catch her on 'The shopping Channel' in Canada when I lived there over a decade ago. Only she could get away with calling her own Jewellery 'cr@p' unlike Mr Ratner. I also used to like watching her and Melissa on the red carpet at the Oscars, hilarious!

RIP Joan

My sympathies to her family. Her passing will have left a huge gap in their lives.

From QVC UK:

We were saddened tonight to hear the news of Joan Rivers' passing. She was an incredibly funny and vivacious woman and will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.

From QVC USA:

We are greatly saddened by the loss of our dear friend Joan Rivers. She has been a special part of our QVC family for 24 years, and we knew Joan not only as an extraordinary comedian, writer, producer and business leader, but as a generous and caring spirit, who inspired us to be better every day. Joan truly loved her customers, and delighted in bringing joy and inspiration to their lives over these last many years. We extend our deepest sympathies to her family, friends and fans.” – Mike George, President and CEO, QVC

Thank you Autumn for that ....i new she was a big softie ;0) ......God Bless her ....x. Thinking of her family

The daily mail is showing such touching tributes for Joan ....she was truly admired ...loved even ....despite her scathing remarks ...most of Hollywood found it an honour to be ripped apart by her lolol bless

I was sorry to hear this sad news. No-one expects to have a procedure done and not come out, that is what saddens me, that people die from other than natural causes. I am sad that Joan died in such circumstances and have sympathy for her family. RIP

The tributes on here are lovely and from what I've seen and read in the media too. I haven't heard a bad word against her and in real life she was a caring and big hearted lady. My sympathies go to her family and friends.

Bless her :0) ..that's lovely love heart ;0)

RIP Joan. I will never forget her last appearance on ITV's Loose Women! If you didn't see it, let's just say she wasn't too complimentary to Russel Crowe! I haven't laughed so much in years. A true star who will be genuinely missed.

Saw this on Fb last night and thought it summed Joan up :) I hope she gets her wish x
