Jay Manuel Beauty TSV 07/09/16 launched by Chloe Everton (PS this is the guy who used to do Americas Next Top Model)
Depending on price I think I might go for this. The foundation seems to have quite good reviews but pricy to buy on its own. I worked this set out at £110 ish to buy individually so hoping for a good offer.
Have the other individual Jay Manuel items already aired on Q? Everything seems to be on waitlist?
Not much of a set that contains two actual products. I had no idea what the two smaller things on the right-hand side of the picture were until I looked at the list of items QVC are stocking and saw they are applicator sponges (at £20.50 inc P&P). And the thing on the left is just the lid of the brush, isn't it? ... surely QVC are not trying to make it look like a substantial offering by showing one item as two to pad the photo out?
Is it me or is it not really weird that a new brand to QVC is being launched and has a TSV within about a week of each other? Most brands wait ages before they get a TSV.
I won't be trying this TSV.
I predict madness and mayhem as the presenter is trying to explain the foundation shades, will they roll out the same photos they used for every other brand, and rehash the cliched "celebrity" examples - Nicole Kidman, Courtney Cox, Cheryl Cole, then they struggle with the deeper shades and rely on Craig Rowe and Oprah! :mysmilie_11: They don't help themselves by insisting on having the shades listed in alphabetical order instead of a more logical shade order.
In the interests of market research I might order the TSV, whatever it is. It'll have to stand up to scrutiny for me to keep it though.
There's more info about the range on HSN's site here. There are other brands I'd rather spend my money on and if I wanted to spend £33 on a blusher I'd got to SpaceNK and allow myself to be schmoozed by their staff and go for Hourglass or Nars or whatever. :mysmilie_10:
