Jade Troth is back

He's on yet again, flogging Serpentine but waffling about Jade.

He's the most boring person I've ever seen in my life. He has a dull monotone voice, he has no personality whatsoever, and he rambles on and on.

I don't know how he doesn't cost them viewers.
You've heard of the Destroyer of Worlds, he is the destroyer of Gemporia.

I often imagine what the presenters are thinking while he drones on in his boring, dreary way. Good job thoughts cannot be read :ROFLMAO:

They are considering marketing him - as a cure for insomnia.

And talking of DT. Don't see him for a while, but when he returns he returns with a vengeance. I bet the presenters were grateful for the respite. But now he's back, they probably have the talkback in their ear on the side he is, and on full blast. Rather hear the goings on in the gallery....

I did my normal late night flicking across channels and there he was as usual, pre recorded with Angeline saying brand new low, price pledges honoured, with a torch showing ? droning on and on about red jade and there were only 6 pieces left in the world or some such crapola. Sigh, same old same old...flicked straight over.

Every so often I switch to Gemporia, watch a couple of minutes, and then turn off or turn over. You'd think I'd have learnt by now; nothing new, no actual useful info. given, just shrieking presenters and loads of rubbish being spouted. Oh, and the extravagant claims and comparisons that aren't comparisons, if you know what I mean.

I seldom watch Gemporia now but I switched on I don't know yesterday or today? To find Ellis with the same old same old. It's the same rubbish spiel time after time. She was selling candles from that company with the name beginning with K. I honestly can't remember the name. It's pure tat! The spiel is also tat. This company is shocking now and can only get worse imo. The days of the old Gemporia are long gone never to reappear. Such a shame.

There must be something wrong with me. This is the second post today where I've said something positive about Gemporia 😨🙃. Happened to catch DT & Stephanie's presentation of the Burmese amber pieces today, as part of their Chinese New Year shenanigans.

The pieces they had were untreated Burmese amber - no HPPT treatment. DT used a London Amber Centre carving, priced at £2750 for comparison. I actually think it was a fair comparison. I also think that the 3 pieces they had were actually impressive. OK, so I'm not very keen on the happy Buddha image but the other two laser carved pieces (one in 18K, one in silver) were quite nice - even if I wasn't in the market to spend £1499!

To restore balance in the universe 🤣, one thing that was bad in the Amber presentation was DT showing an antique carved amber piece that was sold at auction for "3,000 - 5,000 dollars" - his words. Cue audible gasps from Stephanie...

...what he omitted to say was it was sold for 3,000 - 5,000 Hong Kong dollars...

I have to say, those were impressive.

It seems they do like to omit what $ it is. ;)
