No. Sadly not. They clearly have nothing to offer.Yep. 3 hours of Jadeite, followed by a "Daily Discount" coated metal silver diamond ring. Oh well.
Question is...is it worth checking in to GC when it's 4 hours of "January Sale"?!!

Yeah, I have been wondering the same. I watched a bit of GC yesterday and it was depressing.Yep. 3 hours of Jadeite, followed by a "Daily Discount" coated metal silver diamond ring. Oh well.

If they want to keep the channel/company they seriously need to switch it up a lot. Less Jade Troth, less shouting, better quality gems, less misinformation with claims that just aren't true. Realistic prices and accurate gemstone facts. Don't yell poor people certain item are of heirloom quality when they just are not. They need to sell good quality at reasonable prices. If they are selling poor quality then at least price it as such. They need to have a cleared business model and decide what the company is actually trying to be. As it is it is just a mess.I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Gemporia desperately needs new ownership, new management and new ideas.
I don't believe that the current owners/managers know how to turn this current s**tshow around.
New ideas, new products, new presenters and a new approach to channel output are desperately needed.
Back to basics. As you probably know, back in the day, it used to be gemstones and jewellery: which, thanks to a member of the family's suggestion branched out into DIY jewellery, but STILL gemstone oriented. Now, it's like an TV department store. If you want that, there's QVC, TJC and everyone's favourite 'almost jumble sale', IW. If it wants to become a general store, allot hours. I've said it before, but it doesn't even have to be 24 / 7, but collate all the channels. Say, run them from 8am - 11pm. That's '5' channels over 12 hours. The amount they sell per hour you could easily give each 'channel' 3 hours and sell with no waffle or 1 item an hour. Example. 8-11am, HM, 11-2, JM, 2-5, Gemporia and 5-8, GC, and finally from 8-11pm, all the odds. Kimbie, Bamboo and such. They need to have a cleared business model and decide what the company is actually trying to be. As it is it is just a mess.

The whole shebang has lost it's soul. The tree has gone back into the cupboard.
Troth has been brought out of the cupboard.
Santa has delivered a new shipping container full of Jadeshite.
Nice to see "New Year, New Gemporia"......................

I'm not being rude: angel, I am. Never really noticed that: but I don't watch him long enough to notice. But perhaps he does that to stop himself falling asleep mid-waffle. He pinches himself when he feels sleepy. He makes me fall asleep.

Maybe he has one of those 'clickers' in his pocket like weather presenters hold discreetly in their hand? Instead of it scrolling to the next weather page, perhaps it activates a 30-second clock.......He makes me fall asleep.
