Katy having another child ?
I rarely watch now, so haven't seen the BA in many a month. I might be barking up the wrong tree but long T shirts over the bum hasn't been her fashion choice in the past, so i was wondering .......

I wish I'd had more kids thinking about it and it must be great having lots of siblings. My two are very close. Don't think I'd like 20 though, like that family on tv, think of the washing!!

I still can't und

I still don't understand it.
My sister had 5 boys. She doesn't understand why one of them wasn't a girl.

You can have as many children as you want as long as you can support them yourself. I've got none but I have cared for many dogs no one else wanted and lots of folk don't understand why I would do that.

I can't understand why she and husband would want to have four children. I genuinely can't understand it.
To be fair to Katy and others with several children, you don’t need to understand it. I presume they can afford the costs involved in raising 4 children and ‘enjoy’ a busy & chaotic lifestyle,

Personally it’s not something I would do - I’m a cat woman !

I have a friend who has 6 children, all grown up now. But when one was out of the pram, she just had another, she liked having children. Now her grown up children all have min 2,3 and now the youngest daughter has 4 in her early 30s.

I always had cats, and she used to say to me, if you had a baby you would be selling in on eBay. 🤣

There were always children around to look after if I wanted to do that but I did like handing them back. I'm probably not a baby person but lots of people are.

It's not right to tell people not to try to understand, wonder or admit their ignorance. This would be too much in the North Korean way where thought is shut down altogether. In this case I don't have an interest in this particular saleswoman's private life and I didn't state an opinion. She is part of a statistic of woman who have baby after baby in short order. I would be better off consulting people who study demographics, ethics, sociology for answers. However I really loved Donna's answer that the woman she knew had child after child simply because she liked having babies. Maybe the simple answer is often the best one.

She's making up for those who can't or dont want children. We're often told the birth rate amongst white women in the UK is down, so at least she and Stacy Solomon are doing their bit !

Some people don’t have children for a variety of reasons, choice or circumstances. So when someone says it is a woman’s natural instinct ( to want / have) children is that a fair comment, or even an opinion that should be uttered?

No, it's not IMO.
I work with a your girl (24) who's in a LTR with her fiancée and she says she gets sick and tired of people asking her if she'll be having a baby before or after her wedding. She says it can feel relentless at times, especially when she's already made the decision that she doesn't want children and when she says that to people, their automatic reaction is usually something like 'oh, you'll change your mind once your body clock starts ticking'.
I know it really gets her down sometimes.
