On the Emporia thread I did say I thought Jeff Hayden was the best presenter but no much love I see for Del and let me add mine.

No matter who he is on with he is the same, but works best as now with Aussie Steve IMHO.

Usual schtick you get from any other presenter but like with Jeff it is something you can trust, he does not seem to be a con artist does he ?

I love Derek/Del especially paired with Andy but sadly it's not often. What a funny double act they are. Del does not take anything too seriously and if he has a challenging or awful thing to sell you can sense him holding in the laughter. His nails are awful though!

Like me a nail biter but does not seem to care either, if he is conning you it is not obvious and when I check some of the items seem 'bargains' but he is just an enjoyable watch, sense no high pressure sales stuff from him

Steve and Derek are really great together, but sadly I need to be tucked up in bed after ten, so I can never see the whole show.

Just now watching and Nitesh just can’t stop saying Literally, all the time in fact. The other constant words are ‘ in terms of’, ‘erm’ and yet more ‘Literally’. He’s then dropping his head in his hands in supposed anguish at the low prices.Completely unwatchable and insulting tv.Theyre now both in anguish, Literally!

I literally switch over when he's on

Also, 'do not miss out collectors', 'phenomenal deal' etc. Bullshit merchant like all off them, literally!

I can’t watch him (Derek) at all. I used to see him presenting a gambling/bingo scam on late night tv. If I remember it correctly there were numerous punters paying £1 a pop to take a chance to win. Bit like when tens of thousands of people used to text in at £1 per knocking to win grand prize of £5K on Breakfast tv. Don’t know if this still happens as haven’t watched breakfast tv for years.

Think it was mentioned he’s an accomplished violinist.

He's not a bad actor in selly telly terms ... the way he acts surprised at the price item after item after item after item after item after item is worthy of a selly telly oscar ;)

Which makes me wonder, are there shopping TV awards? There should be:

- Best fake surprise at price
- Best exaggeration of bargain price
- Best overuse of 'fantastic, amazing or incredible'
- Best use of comparison item site rrp fake
- Best reduction of price down multiple times to actual web site price
- Best pretend price error on screen

Etc., etc.

Also bad nails (must be a TJC thing) and really cheap looking and horribly coloured jackets which fit badly.

I still think Mark tops it though with his shackets....

Nitesh should never be allowed on screen. I don't watch TJC as much as I used to, but as soon as he appears I either change channel or switch the telly off.

I never used to like Anshu either. Whoever he was paired with, he always looked like a deer caught in headlights, and just shouted random words repeatedly into camera. But he's a lot more relaxed these days paired with Chris, and they do have some funny banter going on.

I miss Amit and his 7,436 price drops for one item over an extended time period. I still can't believe how anyone thought that it was in any way not annoying. The closest thing to it these days is Dave Troth on Gemporia and his extremely boring 45 minute lectures on whatever before any jewellery gets shown on air. And even these monologues get padded out with multiple 30 second clocks

What happened to Amit? Haven't caught a glimpse of him for ages. Did he run out of price drops or what? And is Chloe still around?
