I think I saw ones of the posts in quesiton, and to be fair I'm pretty sure she said "stinky sky viewers", not "stinking" - it was obviously intended as a light-hearted, tongue-in cheek reference to the fact that there are now more people watching Rocks and therefore there's more competition for the items. Perhaps some people who saw the remarks could have taken them the wrong way, but I'm sure she didn't mean it like that. If the poster is the person I'm thinking of, I met her at one of the Open Days and she seemed really sweet.
In reference to the bangles, the same poster also apologiesed and admitted at one point that she was "getting on her own nerves", which I thought was quite funny.
I think the problem is that it's just so easy to misunderstand someone's intentions when you can't hear the tone of voice. I'm quite sure that the majority of people in chat, as on this forum, are lovely people and have no desire to irritate anyone or hurt anyone's feelings.
