Nothing changes I see. Just now Mark is advising people to buy a band ring for £129 because there’s loads, hahaha, of gold in it and that you should melt it down. What a ridiculous thing to suggest.
I watched him the other day and thought he'd lost it at times, some really silly comments. I suppose it's the relentless pressure to sell, sell, sell, but you'd be unlikely to cover the original cost, let alone make a profit. The amount of gold would probably be miniscule in a 9ct gold band ring, even if you could melt it down. Do these people ever check the current price of gold per ounce? How on earth would you make money doing this?Nothing changes I see. Why on earth would he say something so stupid?Nothing changes I see. Just now Mark is advising people to buy a band ring for £129 because there’s loads, hahaha, of gold in it and that you should melt it down. What a ridiculous thing to suggest.
I used to think MG was ok but I can't bear him anymore. He's just like the rest. Talks absolute rubbish, saying utter nonsense and misleading claims if not out right lies. I'm sick of all the silly salesman bs. No credibility and I have notice some items are seemingly identical to some on 'AliExpress' lifestyle things. A lot is available on amazon often cheaper so i give up. Where is the credibility and trust? I thought they told us that TJC stood for Trust, Joy & Community'???Nothing changes I see. No, it stands for "The Jewellery Channel".Where is the credibility and trust? I thought they told us that TJC stood for Trust, Joy & Community'???
This really annoys me just the same as often on jewellery the price is drastically reduced and the presenter cannot believe how low it has gone and says obviously a mistake and someone is in trouble for it. Absolute bs.I know this is the way this channel operates but the starting prices are beyond ridiculous. I don't know how the presenters aren't embarrassed by the prices on the screen. I was channel hopping yesterday and I was stopped in my tracks by the price onscreen for a mineral powder and brush. Chloe was trying to sell this item and the price onscreen was LUDICROUS. I've attached a screen shot. The mineral powder had a starting price of £435.99. It eventually sold for £9.99. I know you can't take the starting price as anywhere near the actual worth of the item but to have such a ridiculous price onscreen is beyond belief.
I agree - it's totally bonkers. I've said the same on here about Gemporia start prices for jewellery items, which are just beyond ridiculous. One person on here told me that the crazy starting prices were to be expected, and they had to start somewhere. Er, actually, no, - it's bonkers and just insults the viewers' intelligence, like so much of what these channels do, and reinforces the impression of shystering. Why not start the price at £1 million? It would be equally crazy.I know this is the way this channel operates but the starting prices are beyond ridiculous.
