Donna, I buy the Aldi mars bars, Racer bars. They are just as good imo and £1.05 for 6. (Mind you, they used to be around 69p!)

I don't like the Dairyfine chocolate. Some of the other own brands are nicer, to my taste.
I still miss Mackintosh confectionery brand, and Rowntree, of course. It's not just American buyers that trash UK confectionery brands. Take a bow Nestlé! I think the international buyers are more fixated on the individual products as brands rather than the confectionery producer. It used to be that the brand was an indicator of whether you'd like a new product.
Cadbury chocolate is not the same... maybe because of the fillings and additions?
I don't like Mars chocolate. Too waxy for my liking.
