Its the fingers crossed I get mine this time. Now that really takes the biscuit! I am actually wondering if these people have some sort of mental health issues?

I used to have a function centre/restaurant in Australia, and if I couldn't get the meat directly from the Butcher, I wouldn't give it to my diners, because the guarantee and quality of freshness wasn't there. All of my meat was cut while I was there, and was put into freezer boxes and taken back to the cool room ready to cook the same day. I wouldn't dream of accepting consumables like meat products to be delivered who knows where, and to what temperatures they are while on delivery, let alone how long they are in the delivery pipe line. It beggars belief people aren't suffering food poisoning. For those on the forum who deal in food, we are aware how tightly regulated our coolers, fridges and freezers are. I just don't get why folks order this way! Support your local butchers. It works out a lot cheaper in the long run, and you won't have the worry of knowing if your order is going to arrive from QVC.
There are people who have had a good experience of buying from Green Seasons, and are happy with the quality and value of what they receive. If so, good luck to them... it's their money and their choice.
There are also people who have had a bad experience and have given Green Seasons a second chance, which is fair enough (what a world we would live in if nobody ever got a second chance).
I would have to say that personally I would not have any faith after one disappointment, but definitely wouldn't even give the company the chance to disappoint me twice or three times. Instead of taking the stress and worry out of catering for Christmas, this non-performance increases stress and worry, as well as increasing the cost of Christmas, or spoiling carefully made plans for meals.
I hope, for all their customers' sakes, that finally QVC and Green Seasons have got their act together and have ensured they can fulfill all the orders they take today. If the can't, they should do the decent thing and stop selling this as something which can be had in time for Christmas... and compensate properly those customers left in the lurch by their poor planning.
Agree entirely. What makes the QVC /Green Seasons (doesn't matter it's one and the same thing as far as I'm aware)is that they try to portray the good old fashioned family butcher in the presentations.Ha ha like hell. The family butcher wouldn't leave you in the lurch at Christmas and would tell you if he/she wasn't able to supply in advance. Some people don't have a butcher near them and would be better off going to the meat counter at a local supermarket and seeing the butcher there. British quality meat is available .
