Many customers have actually decided to keep their coated diamonds once they have learnt what the coating process entails, the benefits it brings and how common the practice actually is. We have also happily investigated treatments on a variety of other gemstones for our customers.

We have added the word ‘coated’ to the descriptions of our coated diamonds which are clearly displayed on our website and during TV games. In fact, our coated diamonds have continued to sell well, which goes to show that there is demand for these products as the fully natural variants are incredibly rare and expensive.

All possible enhancements and treatments are clearly described in our Guide to Gems and Jewellery which is sent to all customers with their first order. This information can also be found in the Gemopedia section of our website.

We encourage any customers who have concerns about their jewellery to contact us so that we can investigate the matter in a prompt and friendly manner."
