there is Garden Day TSV on the 05/04/21
Pssst Catz if you have Netflix try watching Velvet - you'll be hooked after the first episode. Best love story EVER !If I watch this I will buy them. But what else is there to do on a Bank Holiday where the forecast says wintry showers. It will be too cold to go in the garden, so unless there is a multitude of new brilliant films on the box that I am desperate to see, I guess I will watch Q and buy these things that I just don't need. Then the husband may well plant me in the garden.
Thank you Brissles, will have a shufties. I like something new to watch. Watching Carry on films at the moment. I know........ I know........... seen them all a squillion times, but then am settling down to watch the hobbit, Battle of the 5 Armies. Yep seen it all before but I like LOFTR and The Hobbit. Got the extended versions on DVD and some of the bits cut out of the films were fantastic and to my mind some of them essential to the movies.Pssst Catz if you have Netflix try watching Velvet - you'll be hooked after the first episode. Its the cost of the postage that puts me off average £4.95 adds up if you buy a couple of items, at least Ideal World cap theres at £3.99 this Easter weekend.there is Garden Day TSV on the 05/04/21
It's been a blizzard today. I had to take the dog out and I was nearly crying with cold. My hanging basket has died . Hopefully it will warm up so I can get my plants in the ground, the livingroom is like Kew Gardens! No gardening today - it’s snowing!
Another reason I no longer get sucked in with the 120 plug plants for £10 kind of deal. You need 120 pots and you need a lot of room to put the pots out and then you need a good lawyer for your imminent divorce when your husband throws 1000 fits because every surface is covered in tiny plants.Cc this is the first year I’ve gone down the seeds route (one packet last year) and like yourself the house is coming down with them - I didnt fully realise just how much room they would take up once I started to pot them on.
if I ever get suckered into buying mini plants then I use the black large trays overfilled with compost. You can put 30 upwards seedlings in them. By the time they had filled the trays then you can put out in their final arrangements. Saves a lot of space. Using a good compost and plenty of it and watering from underneath.Another reason I no longer get sucked in with the 120 plug plants for £10 kind of deal.
