Gabbling presenters

The gabbling technology expert, Lee. Talks fast and never has made much sense, to me. I know he wants to walk and talk me through his computeristical wares, yet he never does. I know he wants to give you the 'Grand Tour' but the tour never really begins. Fifteen plus years of footage of his flat, his cat, his holiday snaps and phone calls to his mother. "Alexa?" "My appointments for next week, if you will?" "Get stuffed, Oh Master." A rare view of him again this evening and the same old tedious act remains the same. Him and Brook and the never ending try to get a wi-fi connection Epson printer...My last one went in the skip...

Top lip? Her bottom lip was puffed up like a balloon, her face was shiny (especially compared to the other dragons) and her skin looked like it was full of craters! She's really not a great look for her own products. She's had more work done than Frankenstein's monster! And looks worse.
 
Insincere Eyelid on with her “cooking show. In addition to her eyebrows nearly reaching her hairline, her mouth is nearly reaching her ears. I don’t know if she’s had some cosmetic procedures but she looks odd. If she has maybe it was so expensive and that’s why she can’t afford to get her roots done.

I saw her briefly and noticed her very thin face with pronounced furrows from nose to mouth. Also what looked like a couple of inches if dark brown roots. Maybe it's something to do with the harsh studio lighting. It's not always soft focus.

A cock and bull story. Menopausal skin may be dry. Most any moisturiser deals with dry skin. Men's skin can be dry too. Same thing applies. Although I think DF is one of the best presenters, she can go overboard at times.

I replied to a post the other day commenting that presentations are more frenetic than of old. Then, proving my point, I saw a repeat hour with Messrs. Campbell and Murphy and it was unbearable. I can't remember either of them talking so quickly in the past.

Then I saw a Kim and Co hour with Debbie Flint and Carla Laszlo and what a difference. I am not a huge fan of Ms. Flint but she does speak at a normal pace and describes the items she is selling, and I also appreciate it when she asks the models (bossily at times) to move their hair out of the way or take off a superfluous belt/coat/scarf which is impeding the spectator from clearly seeing what is actually being presented. Carla is always calm and measured unlike Jenny Blackhurst who has also adopted a slightly hysterical style in recent months.

There are a few presenters who maintain a calming style; Julia, Katy, Catherine, Dale and Will are those who immediately come to mind and who don't incite me to throw my mug in the direction of TV, whilst Jill and Chloe, and a few others who should know better, do.

I really like Debbie Flint. I don't dislike Chloe, she kind of makes me laugh, but she's so hyper!!

The one I can't watch is Franks. The other day, she was on the late shift, flogging (I think) Elemis. She went over to the model who was rubbing the cream into her arms, started rubbing one of the model's arms, then walked back to her presenting spot gushing, "I'm so JEALOUS, oh my gosh, so JEALOUS". It was fake & cringe.

Not finished, Franks, if you're reading this. LOL

I did take a screenshot of the odd unflattering high heels you could hardly walk in, worn with black leggings, but I don't want to embarrass you by posting. Or do I?? :rolleyes::LOL:
