Frightening

Now when I was a young girl, I had a couple of frightening experiences with cows.
Seems like now I'm older things don't change.:mysmilie_17:
Sorry if it appeals

I would not want that in my garden. I was brought up in a village next to a farm and was always extremely wary of cows and I'm even worse since my friends were stamped on by a small herd of cows with devastating consequences. I can't think why anyone would want that thing in their garden but each to their own.

Oh my Lord. There are some extremely pretty cow breeds, why not depict them instead of this hideous monstrosity. It looks like it's chocker with Q presenters drivel.

Bettyboo I'm so sorry to hear that I guess we feel so very similar.
Whilst I love animals, cows I've always been wary of too.
When I was very little I recall our little westie with a herd stamping around him was so frightening.
Then when I was older on a pony trek the pony decided it would bolt off looking for its mate.
I ended up hanging on for dear life around herd going in for milking.

That is so "cooot" it is ugly! Revolting thing, IF I had a garden and (read the review) my so-called "best friend" bought that as a gift for me, I would immediately question their sanity!!!!

Oh yes I hadn't seen that suitable for Best Friends indeed.
Gosh if someone bought me that I would be insulted.

I don't like 'metal' anything for the garden - too many sharp edges. A 'friend' of mine bought me one of those coloured metal lizard sculptures that adorn outdoor walls. I smiled sweetly. It was beyond awful, BUT I do appreciate that they are just the cup of tea for others. If I do start to have 'worrying' ideas, I quickly think "would the Queen do or have this ?".

Yes metal in the garden I always think a rusty mess come winter with stained yellow marks on the patio.
Plus anything not too weighty can be seen being carried around by my yellow lab, never lost his Andrex puppy ways. :mysmilie_48:

I don't mind cows at all but do find this ornament a little strange. I imagine that the people who buy it would also have that LED thing that illuminates the toilet bowl.

all these 'gorgeous in your garden' things they bring us, I'd never dream of putting in my garden, don't really know who would, and certainly even if I did, it wouldn't be a cow - oh dear, utter madness.

It's like the creators of South Park have branched out into garden ornaments

Edited to add: the damn thing is on waitlist now?!?!?

See, I quite like that. It reminds me of Ermintrude off Magic Roundabout
But then I was brought up on a farm & milking was one of my chores, morning before school & evening before tea so I like cows. I suppose they can be a bit intimidating being so large when you're not used to them.

I like cows too, mind you saying that, I llove all animals to be honest. If someone gave me the solar cow I'd put it in my garden, but I'd never pay £25 for that one. I've seen similar in Poundstretcher for £4.99 so nice big hefty slice of profit......again......for QVC. :mysmilie_17:

I can imagine fans of this (and QVC) having items with LED light all over the place so that their home is so bright it can be seen from space .Real fans having a whole herd of the cows.

I agree that these (and other animal ornaments)are available as a similar product elsewhere but much cheaper. Typical QVC 'creaming' off as much profit from items others manage to discount.:mysmilie_17:
