OK I admit it. I do own some Kim & Co. On the whole I find it way too expensive for what it is but I have two skirts which I found very handy for this time of year. Easy to wear - no buttons or tight waistbands - and very convenient to pack and wash with no ironing.
So I decided to take a foray into the tops. I purchased an amethyst coloured long sleeved round neck top. Quite basic and simple. When it arrived, it was so plastic and static to wear. I could see threads hanging off it. I tried to like it, I tried it on with some jeans and added a scarf. The colour is lovely. However, I couldn't get over the synthetic quality of the fabric. Then I looked at the price around £30 with £4.45 P&P! It is truly ridiculous. It cost almost £3 to return.
I have had a stern talking to myself. How could I have been so foolish. If I find myself falling for the sales patter again I am going to remember this little transaction and switch off.
Rant over.
