Favourite Qvc Presenter

ShoppingTelly

Help Support ShoppingTelly:

I can't remember the last time I watched a whole hour on any shopping Telly channel.
i tend to dip in and out then check the web site foe more information if I am interested in ordering.
Having said that there are some presenters who catch my attention more than others.
I like to watch Kathy (we where at school together) she is very natural and never makes exaggerated claims for things and she ISN'T a SIZE SMALL.
Pippa is another one who I will stay and watch. she is what I would call a real woman who's life has had the up's and downs that so many of us have been through, and she hasn't got every thing she shows us unlike some.

I can honestly say that I don't have any favourite QVC presenters. Some I can watch longer than others, and some I can't watch at all.

I do have favourite guest presenters and some I watch just for the entertainment even though I don't buy the range, e.g. Simon on Butler and Wilson.

I would prefer more input from the guest presenters and less from the QVC presenter. I think the QVC presenter should give the minimum information and then let the guest presenter talk more.

Agreed. There are enough attention-grabbing prima donnas in this world without shopping television presenters adding to the list.

Lol have to admit, Jill Franks has grown on me just because of that reason.

It seems strange to cite someone's ability to incite annoyance as a reason for liking them, but then....whatever bakes your biscuit, I suppose!

I know a lot of people aren't fans because of her selling style, but I actually really like Debbie Flint. It's her personality really, she's a good laugh and I imagine she's a hoot on a night out.

Favourite presenter is Julia. She always seems to be well prepared and professional. She isn't hyper, doesn't repeat herself constantly, doesn't say she has all the products, and doesn't speak nineteen to the dozen. I like her, and think she is someone the other presenters could learn a lot from.

Kathy used to drive me crazy and she looked so bewildered and had terrible dress sense. Then they 'did her up' - but it looked wrong - too much makeup, stiff hair and daft outfits. Now she seems to have found her 'look' - the makeup is toned down, her hair tamed and she's gone for smart/casual which suits her. She's the only one I can bear to hear waffle on as she's simply a waffler.

Pipa - eat some pies with Jill Franks. Julia and Alison - stop eating pies. Debbie, you are a testament to Spanx. Dale you ooze oil. Claire - how much is your hair extension bill?! Chloe you are very down to earth - a bit too much and I imagine you to have been one of the Tough Girls at school that no-one got on the wrong side of.

Debbie Flint, Julia and Claire are my favourite presenters. I like the fact they seem to enjoy themselves on screen and give out factual information.

Pipa is/was my favourite, BUT only when she was presenting on her own.
I don't generally like it when presenters tell stories about their lives etc, but for some reason her stories are always enjoyable & usually very funny.
But I still don't forgive her for subjecting us to Ingrid Tarrant.

A very close second is Julia. Say what you will about her, she is, IMO, the best when it comes to giving the viewer information about the products etc.
Also, I never watch any of the Fashion hours, but if I happen to switch one on & Julia is presenting, suddenly I realise that I've been watching it for a good half hour.
That to me is what a good presenter should do, keep the viewer watching.
