A name with history
The Jubilee is named after the famed colourless Jubilee Diamond discovered in 1895 in South Africa. Originally 650 carats, it was cut to a cushion shape and still remained an impressive 245 carats - making it the 6th largest diamond in the world! Originally known as the Reitz Diamond, after the president of the state in which it was discovered, it was renamed the Jubilee Diamond in honour of the 60th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Victoria in 1897.
