Surely we've had enough of beauty tsv's. I know the lead up to Chrimbo is the prime selling time for beauty, but jeeez for the past month we've had a beauty tsv every other day. (ok it might be a bit less than that, but I've been checking for the past week or so, and that's certainly been the case). I'd be glad never to see another Dolly / Mally / Liz Earle / Elemis / Gatineaux / L'Occitane / Judith Williams / Opi products and the rest until at least Easter !!!

To be honest I used to love the beauty TSVs at this time of year as I always got the Decleor one and sneaked in the MB as a gift from Mr CC. The thing is they used to be "jump to the phones" exciting and recently they just aren't. The prices have gone up a lot (OK, it happens) but the contents just aren't a must have any more. In these times, people aren't going to buy just because they always have. I think a Christmas TSV needs to have a rethink.

On the QVC Facebook, there have been a number of comments over recent weeks saying why aren't all the beauty shows on the Beauty Channel, that is what it is there for.

Now, I do flick around channels and every time I hit the beauty channel 99.9% of the time it is Elemis, Liz Earle, L'Occitane or Molton Brown in that order.

plus the beauty channel is acutally meant to just be pre records of the items on the main channel with a few extra new deals ect thrown in for good measure so it acutally has to be aired first before it makes an appearence on there

Agree. I also loved the Christmas beauty TSV’s but they have become repetitive and boring. The MB one in particular just seems to be the same as last year. The presentation is always the same too, doesn’t look like any thought went into it.
The Loccitane big deal that is currently available is far nicer than the TSV, and much better put together.
They just don’t seem to feel like special gifts anymore

You hope for a technology TSV, then you see it’s flippin’ make-up AGAIN…with the ‘Be Seeing You‘ models on day release from The Prisoner village, smiling an empty smile at the camera. That said, if you do get technology, you have to endure that walk and talk you through jack sh…nothing buffoon, annoying his mother with yet another pointless phone call. At least the models rarely speak. But I am sure if they did, they would say something a bit fresher and meaningful than ‘I Am Love With Alexa’ does..

I know the bare minimum about technology but it seems to me that when qvc do offer something, those in the know post that it’s outdated or better value somewhere else. If I wanted something I’m not sure I’d get it from qvc. I’d prefer a local shop or direct from a specialist retailer. I feel that qvc want to sell but then you’re on your own. I’d need a lot of help!

The amount of beauty TSVs has been a bugbear of mine for ages - not just in the run-up to Christmas. On average - and yes, I am sad enough to have counted on a few separate occasions - it seems to be three a week on average. Which considering the breadth of "categories" they stock is a massive over-representation. I buy none of them - ever. I used to buy Geller because I liked her powder foundation, but now I have found something cheaper with better coverage.

Ye
Too right it was! And it was always a real luxurious treat, beautifully packaged and she presented it so well. Sigh. Those were the days…
Yes it was, I had never used MB until I watched Q and Jill Goldsmith, I recall a tsv packaged in a lovely box and it such a good price compared to retailers at the time, I gave it a try and was hooked, those were the days when Q was enjoyable to watch and purchase from
