I'm tempted with the TSV.

When I tried the Tri-Enzyme wash from the discovery collection it dried my skin out, but I think I was using it wrong.

Can someone tell me do you use your regular cleanser then use the Tri-Enzyme Wash as a second cleanse, then toner etc?

I like the tri-enzyme wash and use it mornings.
I use Elemis chamomile cleanser or purity first.
Afterwards te TE wash, I rub it in very well and rinse it.... my skin feels very soft and so clean. I don't use a toner afterwards, there is no need for imo and I apply a serum immediately.

my only worry is that I would be over exfoliating.
I use the wash 3-4 times a week. I also use gatineau active eclat gommage or another scrub 2 or 3 times weekly, maybe very soon my skin will become paperthin:33:

^^Woaah, Tia, that DOES sound like a lot of exfoliating! :34:

If you're using the Tri-enzyme wash then I think you should put the Gatineau activ eclat gommage on the side for the time being, because they're both enzymatic and you don't want to overstimulate the skin!

Since you're already using an enzymatic wash that keeps the skin relatively smooth, I think you only really need to exfoliate once or twice a week depending on how mature your skin is, not more than that.

A gentle manual exfoliant like the Liz Earle one would suffice x 2 week in conjunction with the wash. :7:

I was tempted.....I've had great results on my dark circles with the eye serum recently. But then I already have a bottle in use and it lasts ages. I liked the sample of wash I received, but I'm already using the Gatineau gommage stuff, so don't want to over exfoliate! Quite fancy trying the ginger stuff, but I REALLY don't need it! Not tried the tan accelerator, but no holiday for me this year, so is it really worth it?

EP might have swayed it, but I'm going to be strong,

I think!

This TSV did not interest me when I first heard what was in it, and it still does not interest me. Cannot use the Tri stuff as I have roseaca and no sun bathing either so Tan stuff is unless.

Helen you cleanse tone and then use the tri enzyme wash hun :clap:

not tempted by this,am going to resist too, trying hard to save for hols in May!
the hand and body lime and ginger sounds lovely but I dont really need it so that makes me feel a bit better!

Need a bit of help - thinking of buying but when I got the sample it said no sunbathing whilst using the tri enzyme wash. Is that right, even with sun protection etc?

Thanks Mollymoo

I've gone for it. I know - I'm weak!

Having said that, I was going to spend £25 on Elemis for my friend's birthday this month so she can have the hand wash & lotion. For £20 I get the rest and they're all products I want to try so it's a bargain really!

I've convinced myself this was a wise purchase so if you can all play along, that would be great!!! :54:

Hmmm, re-surfacing sounds like something better suited to roads than to my face. I received a sample of the wash, but haven't tried it yet - sounds like it might be a bit harsh for me - delicate little flower that I am.
I love the sound of the hand/body wash & lotion, but I doubt I'd use anything else from this TSV, so I'm not buying it.

I have decided that it just isn't worth putting something on your skin that means you have to watch how you go in the sun. What if the spf you use isn't good enough? I don't want to risk my health for vanity.

Did anyone see the ingredients on the ginger and lime hand and body wash when they showed it close up, looked like it said sodium laureth sulphate.

I am not going for the TSV, not even in the slightest tempted by it, seems like another mish mash of products from Elemis again

#74 Nor me ringtree, I don't fancy the sound of that at all!
I try & avoid the sun anyway (probably why my face & body is reasonably wrinkle free! lol) but that sounds just too scary for me!

Tbh, I don't particularly get on with Elemis products in general anyway, they either seem to do nothing at all for me or worse, irritate my skin & I haven't tried anything new of theirs for several years I think!

It is good value if you like the products - but I didn't get on with the Tri-Enzyme and was never impressed with the eye serum. Didn't particularly rate the tan accelerator either (if you're a fan Salonskincare are doing a two-for-one). :54: So wasn't difficult for me to resist :21:

^^lol! You have to remember that Elemis are not anti-ageing specialist and were initially concieved as a 'luxury spa' brand - that is why they are famous for their pampering services on cruiseliners.

Elemis is good as a luxury spa brand. It (alongwith Decleor) is however not the BEST at anti-ageing for me.

I am impressed by the Tri-enzymes range. However since I have tried top-end stuff like Karin Herzog etc, I can put things in perspective and say that the anti-ageing results from Elemis products are MEDIOCRE at best, and could be better.

Gatineau and Karin Herzog products are the only ones that astounded me by making my face feel dramatically firmer, brighter & lifted enough that DOZENS of strangers paid me compliments on my skin telling me how beautiful I looked - I simply don't get the same reaction when using Elemis! :21:

Had worse reaction ever - and although I have sensitive skin it doesn't go mad often - to a mask in their last TSV - and I mean face and neck really burnt and eyes and lips really swollen. Needed medication. This was over Christmas and lasted two weeks!

I will not chance anything from the range now.

It did seem odd to me that one minute they are promoting a sun accelerator as being good for getting a tan more easily and fine for the face and the next a 'cleanser' that will make your face go red if you wear it it the sun.

If someone hasn't had time to listen to all the presentation or read ALL the smallprint they will frazzle if they use both.
