Easiyo TSV 29/4/15

With them showing the refill pack second tsv, I was confused, thinking the main tsv was the maker and eight sachets, for under £20. At least I know, even though I would like the new style maker, I wouldn't even consider it. Not a great deal, when I would only use one of the sachets. A no brainer for me, I shall wait until the new maker becomes available on easiyonline.

They do work out cheaper. I was in Morrisons yesterday and they had a pack of four for £4.49 which in a lot of places is the price of two Easiyo packets, that's two litres of yoghurt, the equivalent of four mouthfuls of ones of those expensive pots of youghurt worked out £1 per pot. Basically what I'm saying is, how many of those little expensive pots of youghurt could you fill with one litre of a Easiyo yoghurt. Plus a lot less calories than a massive bowl of Co Co pops or cheese on toast.

My word what was in those yoghurts at £4.49 for four individual pots?!
And you can't compare directly nutritional content of easiyo or any yoghurt with coco pops or cheese on toast!! (Neither of which I would eat for breakfast or anytime!)
But if you like it and find it good value then great ;)

I don't find it good value.....it is good value, when you compare it to the expensive "healthy" ones. You can compare the nutritional content between having Easiyo for breakfast or cheese on toast, Easiyo is obviously the better for you. The £4.49 yoghurts were Activia cholesterol boosters or something like that. Phew! All done.

**** Easiyo and their hyperexpensive sachets of skimmed milk powder and a bit of bacteria! Use THIS! It's great, and you could even use it as a starter culture if you so desired.

I buy that, but the dates aren't always that good though, only last a couple of days, if I know I'm going to need some youghurt to go with a curry I'm making the next day, I just whip an Easiyo up the night before, if I can be arsed. With my husband working shifts we can't always get to a Morrisons so if I was going to go myself, it would cost me almost £8 on the bus, if I needed a taxi back it would cost me about £12, that's how Easiyo works out cheaper for me when I need some natural youghurt to whack in my curry.

Always use bio plain yoghurts for a starter and taste as good as easyo, I have even (I will prob get shot down in flames for this) used acidophilus tablets carefully mixed in with the milk as I have recently and it tasted fine.

Edited to add, I just have the capsules on a regular basis so I know I'm getting the good stuff and they are far cheaper than any supermarket or easyo sachets.

Yes, I suppose the Easiyo could be convenient in some ways. I live right near Sainsburys and Asda. They all sell that yog too. I find it lasts for ages. I have it in my fridge opened and it lasts easily 7-10 days. I have some each morning with a dish of raspberries and blueberries. The curry sounds nice. Put some coconut milk in! Also can add coconut milk to yogurt too.

You lucky thing, wish I lived by a supermarket, no take that back! I'd never be out of there. The yoghurts probably been out for days when I get there, so not much shelf life left. Ooooh coconut milk sound yummy, I'll try that. I tried something from Aldis the other day I didn't think I'd like, I picked up a carton of soya milk, I thought it's only 59p so if I don't like it I'll bin it, but it's absolutely gorgeous!! it's like cream but very little fat in it, you'll have to try some it. :mysmilie_14::mysmilie_508:
