What we see of Catherine on air is no doubt just a persona. She has produced a play, maybe more than one... And acted in plays. The lady cannot be a silly airhead in RL, in my opinion.

I think QVC encourages the presenters to be flirty, and a number comp!y, albeit by different methods according to their own interpretation of what flirty means. QVC seem to forget the overwhelmingly female audience, so demean both presenters and viewers by urging or condoning this behaviour.
