I'm watching the 7-8 presentation and I am really impressed with Doris's advice, she's talking about how important it is to have blusher and lipstick that blends together and doesn't clash, which is of course common sense but I must admit I am guilty of not really paying attention to that and just putting on my favourite blusher and lipstick which don't necessarily go together.

I also like the look of the oto but I am restraining myself.

It's a Northern thing! Curry sauce on chips is DELICIOUS. See also: gravy.
It's a cliche but I really do find chips down South terribly dry, as Peter Kay would say, "Has thou got owt moist?" :mysmilie_14:

Chips and curry sauce also popular here in Scotland!

Yum gravy and chips.....with a splash of vinegar, yum yum
Had some chippy chips yesterday. My mouth was watering as I ordered lovely crispy light fluffy chips. Got them home and they were overdone, brown, soggy, bad ( as in black) chips. Yuk, yuk, yuk
I went into a decline for the rest. The night!

I've never really been interested in this brand but I'm now really annoyed with myself because I like the look of the TSV and the only colour left isn't my colour.
I like the look of one of the lippys in the too but don't like the other, it looks a bit dark for me.

So what's the story with dalton cosmetics and doll10 please and were dalton any good?

I heard that they are the same, but Dalton had to change the name to Doll10 because of copyright/trademark something because another company was called Dalton.

How would you recommend using the concealer? Does it sit ok over primer?

Yes the concealer is lovely JR's Ego and sits well over the foundation (I didn't apply the BB drops this time) and the small compact is so cute as is the blush. But I find that the foundation doesn't set as Doris has said, whenever I touch the skin with my finger it transfers and I only used a tiny amount. And I don't feel that it fills in the creases and they just disappear like Doris said when demoed on her wrist, perhaps I need more practice with it. What I'm impressed with so far is the packaging. Having said this the full size concealer has an extra lid to stop it drying out so I wonder how this one will keep and the blusher as well.

Thanks weathergirl, if that's the case she came up with a good alternative name, if you say it fast it sounds the same ...I bet that p11sed the other company off. Love it!

How clever of you to work that out, Sharonk. I always thought the name Doll10 a bit patronising to women and it put me off the brand, but now that you have mentioned how much it sounds like Dalton, it makes perfect sense.
I really like Doris too - no gushing, no fake promises, just real passion for her brand and a genuinely nice woman.
I have had the conceal it concealer in Medium and although I can get away with it, it is slightly pale for me. Order 2 sets of the tan last night - really hoping it's not too dark as generally I am a medium in LG BnB.

Oh no, sorry chaps! It is ketchup all the way for me. I used to go on biz trips to Germany which was where I first encountered curry sauce. Oh my days!!! The guys all went mad for it but I thought it was horrendous, lol. Mind you I cannot be doing with ANY curry so always a bit of a loser for me!

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply, Im hope this concealer is a hit - I kick myself for giving into it, but beauty really is like technology these days, with latest formulas, so its par for the course to have drawers of useless make up, not binned 'just in case I might need it one day' :cheeky::dull:

In the 1970s a concealer was a concealer, so basic that my mother would say to my Father (during her usual 7 day hospital visit in maternity wing) 'Darling please buy me a Yardley concealer' and he would just walk into shop. Buy it. (lipstick shaped) Leave. Now its hash tag confusion!

I thought Doll10 was a strange name too, I don't know if I dare admit this but I thought is was a make up range that one of Girls Aloud promoted, the red head girl!
Now it makes sense.
I bet whoever came up the name had a big smile on their face for days

In Northern Ireland too, but I ask for mushrooms and onions on mine.

Or a Curry Half n Half, half chips and fried rice with curry sauce.

Although I don't like it, I can understand curry sauce on chips but it was the fish part that puzzled me. I would have thought the sauce would overwhelm the taste of the fish. Save the fish money and just buy chips!!!!!

My TSV arrived in the Light option and it's a keeper. Well I already knew I liked the foundation, BB drops and concealer, the blush and lippy duo are a really good colour, a nice pink but not to sugary or blue IYKWIM. The travel size of the concealer is still roughly the same as the full-sized concealer in many other brands and the compacts of the blush and concealer are slim but feel sturdy enough to carry around.

I don't want to say I'm disappointed, because I'm not, but most of the contents I already own in one form or another so opening the box didn't have the wow-factor and only the lip and cheek products were new to me. So I already knew I'd keep it and the face products will just go into storage. I'm hoping the Fair will arrive tomorrow as there are occasions when I want a real alabaster foundation, for some reason I can always go down a shade in foundation but I can't wear a darker foundation which is what my daughter does when she's fake tanned her body.

If you have silver hair or platinum blonde I'd recommend the grey option of the brow product. My hair flips between golden and ash-toned blonde hair but my brows have absolutely no red in them whatsoever so blonde pencils tend to look odd. I can use the Doll10 blonde or grey brow pots and have one of each on the go. The grey looks better if I'm wearing grey/blue/lavender eye colours whereas the blonde looks better with browns taupes and greens. Having hazel chameleon eyes means I can play with any colours. The video attached to item 203552 gives a pretty good idea of the blonde and grey as Doris applies the blonde to on herself and the grey on Jacquie http://www.qvcuk.com/Doll10-Airless....html?sc=SRCH&cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_-1-_-203552
The colours on her hand look strong but the application to brows is softer and wispier. My brows are virtually invisible/non-existent ad this gives the most natural look.

Mine arrived today I ordered the Tan shade and it's perfect for me very pleased with everything.
:mysmilie_48:

Mine's still " in process" & I ordered just five minutes into the launch show at midnight as needed to look at foundation shades on air. Not happy.

I'm sharing your annoyance Brissles, I ordered 2 TSV's at about twenty minutes passed the launch at midnight and I've been checking my account today and notice that just one has been shipped and the other is still pending. Both TSV's were paid for on one order number so I'm bemused as to why they didn't get sent out together !

Were they different colours?
