Jacqualina, I sent stuff back the same time as you and still haven't received an email about refunds, and I'm staggered that this is the case, it really is unacceptable, particularly in light of the fact that during presentations we are constantly told that we have peace of mind by being able to return unsuitable items. I've never heard a mention of how long the refunds take. This, along with the fact that in the space of a couple of months, I've received 3 damaged pieces, has really left me doubting the integrity of the company. Perhaps the problem is that the 'empire' is expanding far too quickly, and instead of getting the existing arms of the company right, too much time is spent on setting up the latest venture. Do we really need a separate Gem Collector channel, for instance? There is such a thing as over-ambition, and it generally leads to failure.
As to Chat, it could be good fun depending on who was around at the time, as well as being informative, but there's no doubt that it was cliquey, nor that it descended into nastiness from time to time. However, as Argey rightly says, it was monitored, and then the sycophantic stuff ended up onscreen whilst the other stuff was ignored. I did get irritated a few times when chatters were saying that they didn't like a piece and a Rocks employee would come on and say that such comments should not be made as they would put off other buyers. Sorry, but if you accept positive comments about the jewellery, you have to accept the negative ones, too.
