I must be the only one who does not understand the popularity of these awful bags.

I cannot either, they are light and do go across the body and have many compartments , but they are so expensive for what they are. There are so many alternatives to Kipling bags, and to me so many Kiplings look alike, so how can anyone justify having so many
Nope. Me neither
Ets - I can understand the practicality but they're not very attractive or glamorous! But that's just me. We all have different tastes. I like my bags to be a thing of beauty

Same sentiments here, I can well understand that if anyone likes them, maybe having a few in different styles and colour, but to tell the truth, unless you are a real collector , one cannot tell the difference between a lot of them in styles.
Your not alone , I dont like them either
I have one, and I find that useful for going window shopping and any time on a leisure walk, because it packs a lot, is light and it takes a lot of knocks, but I would not buy another.
My other half says it is a toiletry bag:sad: and to tell the truth, they are very much like one.
On top of it , I have one that was "made for QVC " a patterned one that "would have been £XYZ more in the stores but you cannot buy it, because it is specially made for us in QVC" and being so special, it was made with no pockets for the phone or pens , all the others have them...
this fact was not informed by the presenters.
Like I have mentioned before, I did not send back items in those days, so I kept it. I take it on holidays, I usually pack lotions and such that might leak during the flight and it goes in my hold luggage, and then, I can use it on hols too.
