I've followed this Denim & Co Jacket for a few years. Whenever Q hypes something up,, in this case, raving about how many 5* reviews it's had, I have a quick look at the 1* and 2* reviews.

Apparently there were a good fair percentage that were complaining about that dropped curved back hemline, with reviewers complaining that the bottom of the jacket stuck out at the back, like a duck-butt.

Some pointed out that the models did their best to hide this flaw when modelling. When you know, you can see the subtle attempts to hide it. And I noticed that now the presenters are trying to big-up how great the dropped back is as it covers your bum.

It appears that they have removed all the negative reviews that mention this issue with THE JACKET (as they refer to it)), and only leave up buyers who have a problem with the colour not being what they expected.

I'm only posting this because I feel it's deceptive on QVC's part. Naughty.

Today, Sam was wearing it belted, possibly in an attempt to give it a better shape?? Who knows. I don't think I'd ever wear it with a belt - it looks weird. (Pic posted)

Reminds me of that old joke.
"Does it make my bum stick out?". No, your bum makes your bum stick out.

I really like the jacket and have it in indigo and black, the only one I sent back was the forest green one as the photo showed a forest green but it was actually khaki and nothing like the photo at all. The back doesn't crinkle and doesn't stick out either, perhaps they are just wearing the wrong size. I also thought it looked stupid belted!

I’ve got one in what I’d call Army green and the back doesn’t stick out on mine but I must admit I did read a lot of reviews from people who had that problem. As the jacket has so many 5 star reviews I can’t see why they feel the need to remove bad ones especially when they’re stating a problem that numerous customers are experiencing. I mean they shouldn’t be removing reviews anyway unless they contain offensive language or are in breach of the rules in any other way. Reviews help people make a more informed decision but are pretty worthless if they’re not painting the full picture.

If anyone has bought this, does the bum bit crinkle to a mess when you sit down ?
I have four - I know I'm really sad - but I do like them and wear them a lot, although the grey/silver one has been relegated to Garden duties as it seems to be less soft than the others and I've never been overly sure about the colour and of course never got round to sending it back. As far as I know the back doesn't crinkle or stick out, but I must admit I don't often look at my posterior image if I can help it :)
