I remember way back AY also pushed Prologene for use for scars after they had healed. Andrew from Gatineau even said it helped his face after the car accident. That is never ever mentioned now.

Yes, wasn't it originally developed as a treatment for burns/scars. Am I going delusional or was it something developed for those who were wounded in World War II?

whatever its supposed to do I cant see the benefits I would rather put the decleor body oil on first then a moisturiser like Svelt

Not sure Mazza, but Ideal World's Elizabeth Grant's torricelumn was used by doctors seemingly in WW2. Isn't that where she discovered it, in her doctors? That's what she says anyway. Whether it's right I don't know.

But the thing is torricelumn has never ever been found or used apart from Elizabeth Grant. I remember reading the cosmetic cop website and she said it was a fantasy ingredient which was discovered by EG and no one else has ever heard of it. She never ever explained what it was suppose to be. If EG had patented the ingredient it has long run out and other brands could use it but no.

The thing with Prologene you need to use it and expect a few uses and get results no product will do that. I remember AY always saying you need to use a product for at least 30 days to see any results. Which is true. This strange idea of once use and bang this wonder product will change your skin is a myth.

I know a few people who use it with the NuFace devices

Just had a quick look and the TSV is suspiciously cheap. The last one I bought was over £70 before they started changing it all. Not going for it either way.

I would suspect because this TSV is Neroli based which, any TSV that has Iris or Magnolia items in it tend to be more exspensive.

I have 3 Alguaromes (400mls) which I bought when they were silly prices from the Q just before they discontinued the range ... I am nearly at the end of one bottle which I opened quite a time ago and it has not gone ‘off’.

I can't deal with that woman fiddling with her face! What in heaven's name does she think she's doing, tickling and drumming her eyebrows and pummelling her chin? She's been at it for about half an hour now..with a saintly smile on her face!

They aren't allowed to. I had a review rejected because I had referred to AY stating it helped reduce her acne scarring. Anecdotal claims are forbidden.

Not interested in Decleor now, I hate the packaging, I know it is want is inside that matters but the way the range seems to have been revamped is a real turn off for me.I still have some Prologene gel from way back, probably out of date now.I was always drawn in to the hype about it but that only lasted a few days of use.I don’t like the smell and did nothing for me.So that leaves everything for those that still like the products.
no issue with prolagene on the smell front! Provided the smell, texture and appearance are ok, you can still use it. If you are unsure, just do a patch test first.

Did I just hear them say on air that this is the last TSV from Decleor this year? Is this the end for Decleor on QVC? They have always had a Christmas TSV, must have hit too many returns/not hitting Q’s sales targets!

That's what I heard too. They did seem to stress that this is the current situation, though, so perhaps talks are underway behind the scenes?

I am thinking it has to do with Covid 19, perhaps they just cannot get the stock for the Xmas TSV? A lot of the factories making beauty had to close and or turned to making handwashes etc only. I mean it is usually the biggest one of the year and well over 20,000 stock. If they brought in a small number TSV people would be complaining like mad as many buy more than one. It will be interesting to see what happens with Elemis and their Xmas one?

I turned over to see one presentation of the TSV and about 30seconds of that woman made me change my mind.

What on earth was that tapping the eyebrow nonsense? Oh yes, we all have time for that before we roll into bed after binge watching Silent Witness and quaffing 3 glasses of wine (I'm talking about me). I agree about the 30 seconds, or was it nano seconds?

These are all facial massage moves that a trained capitalist giving a Decleor facial could use. During the breaks, Fiona said that Karen (the model doing the moves) was asking her for more techniques. She was doing them similarly to Fiona, and so I don't think it can have been as spontaneous as Fiona would have us think!
