Decleor Fans It Is Coming Back.

The one thing about TK Maxx is you have to be wary of old stock that they've acquired from somewhere. My local one was still selling the revised formula Liz Earle toner and Eyebright until recently, the ones that everybody hated and were pulled at least a couple of years ago. Similarly I spotted Crabtree & Evelyn soaps and hand creams last week that must have been sitting in a warehouse for years.

Soap won't go off, never heard about it doing so.

What many do is using their mobile and unsure check the bar code on the product with cosmetic checker.

TKMaxx get accused of old stock, but I remember Jurlique now sold on QVC again. They used real use by dates, think 25/02/26 and the products were well in advance. There are other brands which use proper use by dates and never out of date.

No but it's still not ideal being unaware that you're buying something that was made three years ago. And while that might not be a problem with bar soaps, liquid ones can certainly discolour over time. The Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners Hand Wash I saw in TK Maxx looked an odd shade of yellow, not the light green it would have been when it was fresh.

Of all the beauty and spa brands I was totally baffled why L'Oreal discontinued Decleor. I thought it was wonderful. If it comes back I will keep an eye on it. I wonder what Fiona Brackenberry knows anything.

these are all wonderful products I am still very curious about the reasons L'Oreal took that decision.

I know I should put this in Off Topic but it might get lost there.

From the British Beauty Blogger Beauty Business News.

More L’Oreal news – they’ve finally sold Decleor after ceasing production back in the autumn of last year. The buyer is a new brand building company called Cospal, headed up by Matthieu Lesieur who has links to the brand as his father bought it in the 1980s before selling it to Shiseido (who sold it to L’Oreal). It is reportedly going to be ‘reinvented from scratch’ and I feel quite excited to see what direction the brand will now take and when it will re-emerge.
me too, I never had a single issue with any of my Decleor skincare. I wonder in this case if it will reappear on QVC..

Loved the original Decleor products. L’Oreal bought them out, changed the formulas for cheap ingredients but left prices the same. I stopped buying as their so called improvements IMO were dreadful and my skin suffered. I suspect they had a big loss in sales so stopped producing.

The old saying applies “if it ain’t broke then don’t fix it”

Hopefully this new range reverts back to the original formulations.
