I'm sure QVC wouldn't get any viewing figures if we all turned off because we didn't like the presenter, and actually for a lot of us on here, that's most of the time :mysmilie_14:

Now, giving Flinty a rest, where was I regarding Jill Franks hair. Oh yes, she clearly hasn't washed it for a month. My hair gets similarly lank and greasy when I'm too poorly to wash it, but it gets a good wash before I venture in public !

There is nothing in my comment that isn’t true, I don’t watch but when I channel hop on QVC, my eyes can’t take back what I’ve seen. Anyway don’t be too offended on Ms Flints behalf, second thoughts yes do, you might get a blog out of it and get lots of free QVC beauty goodies, if you’re really lucky, she might even deceive a charity for you.

Get real. DF doesn`t know you and you don`t know her and frankly she wouldn`t give a damned what`s said about her on here nor anywhere else. Neither would she care that unknown people speak out on her behalf.
She does selly telly and has a skin as thick as a rhino and as you said it`s just a job to her so she`s more than aware if you put yourself out there flogging overpriced tat, then people will comment.
Stand in front of a camera in front of several thousand viewers and they`ll notice everything, good bad or ugly. It`s the nature of the beast she works for.
She dresses dreadfully, promotes herself non stop, has an ego as big as a house, a gob to match and doesn`t appear to have any qualms about trying to flog a diet book when she`s as rotund as a bowling ball. Such is her delusional self adornment.

IMO Shopps' comment was totally accurate. Some people instinctively know how to dress in a way that suits them, some don't & I believe Ms Flint's in the latter category, if you want proof of this scroll through her blogs & see the outfit she chose for a relative's wedding last year. I have often described her as the market trader & that because she chooses outfits that require shapewear she frequently resembles well upholstered upholstery, what does that say about me? The sales assistants on QVC have always worn clothes & jewellery to sell them to customers, that works both ways & seeing what Ms Flint was wearing recently may have saved some the effort of ordering & then returning the same dress.

Of course your comments to a forum member are not nasty! I don’t need to explain to you what a forum is all about. I do, however, feel the need to explain what a person doing their job is. In this case it is to sell QVC products and not to use QVC as a platform to promote her books, her guest house or even to influence QVC viewers with her political views, the most recent campaign being Brexit! Her job is to sell for QVC not to promote herself. Imagine being in a shop and the shop assistant behaving like that. Unacceptable.

Not becoming our friends or encouraging us to follow them on social media and thereby having the means to promote themselves. I have said this before on here and I feel it should be said again. I agree totally, imagine going in to a supermarket and the shop assistant tells you about their life, were they live or their sidelines, you’d be taken aback, apart from the fact you probably couldn’t be arsed, it’s as you say it’s the safety aspect of it too. QVCs shop assistants put every part of themselves out there, and in this day and age the QVCs presenters love of wanting to be adored and make money they’re playing a dangerous game. Debbie Flint takes it to a whole new level, deceiving a Cancer charity and writing books she knows don’t work, but take people’s money anyway, doesn’t exactly make her a likeable or endearing person.

I agree. Who is running this organisation? It seems to be a free for all. Instead of the products on show I find that I am distracted by most presenters. I expect that they are on huge salaries with lots of freebies thrown in. I think some of them have entered panic mode. They are wondering what will happen when it all comes to an end, so along come the books, the attempts to become bloggers/influencers, the self promotions, the showing off, the publicising of private interests. Panic Panic Panic. Surviving on a pension .........

That’s true Evie, I also find it’s odd that the producer or floor manager never put them in their place, like a manager should if the staff start rambling on about their latest novel, pie buttys or what their aunties best friends sister wore, loves or bought. Chloe Everton’s mum and what she buys and which guest presenter she loves makes a regular guest appearance, yet, they can’t take that extra time to give sizes out or explain foundation colours properly, yes it’s all very odd.

No, they are just allowed to carry on. Very odd indeed as you say.

but I don't think Jill franks hair looks greasy though! her hair looks very well conditioned and looked after.... she got money to get the best hairdressers and imo it shows

I do try to help as many people as I possibly can in life whenever I can, but the poster calling other posters names doesn’t know that though, I also don’t like to cast aspersions or judge anyone, again, unlike the other poster.

I still say that there is a huge difference in the style and polish of the American QVC presenters compared to some of the presenters here. Don't shoot arrows at me but I like Jill Frank's and Jilly presenting because they are not attached to a damn tablet, they get on with the job and only briefly mention "home-life".

I only catch odd bits of QVC but I can't recall the few times I've seen Jilly or Jill, that I have heard them mention home life or seen an iPad.
