Although she uses Elemis every day, Marverine did not know there was such a product, as an eye serum!

My usual access to QVC, is the website. As I am off work sick, I have the channel on. Marverine is uber amazed, at the value of a £175+ kit. Is this woman for real? Perhaps I have caught her on an off day.

She posted a pic the other day of herself and another lady and they were up for an award for best presenter or something like that, don't think it was Q related
I was gobsmacked

Marv takes the 'I can't believe it's not butter' routine to a whole new level. The wide eyes, the gasp, a little 'steps back in amazement' - she's naturally talented.

It does seem to be a theme now for quite a few presenters to feign shock and awe.

Debbie is ramping it up more and more and Charlie and Dale do a good line in being 'bowled over' by new technology.

It's just acting - I see it like any other advert or info-mercial... It's false but it's laughably panto.

No, you've probably caught her on a good day. You'll know when she's having a bad day, trust me (it's almost every time she's on!!). Awful. To paraphrase Humphrey Bogart (Rick) in "Casablanca": "of all the shopping channels, in all the world, you have to appear on Q".

I would hate to see her on a bad day!

She was on Lola Rose, and it was painful to watch. The rolling eyes, the Miss Piggy hair flicking (ditch the wig love pleeeease), and the nasal tones of her diction all made uncomfortable viewing.

Oh what a laugh - priceless, isn't it? The constant "I'm amazeddd" type of exclamations, vocal contortions and head twirling must exhaust her....she probably has to lie down in a darkened room after her shows to recover. It's like watching a caricature of a selly telly presenter, and makes Mike Mason's presentations resemble Shakespeare.
