TSV wasn't for me but I am tempted by this. Have it on cheque hold. Is this any good and can I but it cheaper else where? Works out £32.65 including postage!

Hi, The machine on the sizzix site is £24.99 but I thinks that's just for the machine, plus p and p is £4.99, so I think the qvc is probably a better deal but on the sizzix site you might get some bargains as well. hth:mysmilie_697:

I found the whole day dull and uninspiring.
I did buy some foiled cards on Saturday after seeing them on the website but probably wouldn't have bothered if I had watched Amy demonstrate them first.

I got the smokey quartz card and the american crafts foiled card with the large and small sheets in...IMO if you weren't into sizzix there wasn't much

Are you sure you only want to emboss and you don't want to cut as well? A die-cutting machine like the Cuttlebug is more flexible but also dearer.

I'm not sure if that's the best deal about, but it gives you an idea.

Hi BB I already have the original Sizzix machine and the hand held one (quickutz)- can the textured folders work with the original Sizzix machine?

I'm not sure to be honest, though a lot of the die-cutting machines seem to work with different manufactuerers' dies. I would suggest posting on Craft Telly as I'm sure someone there will be able to give you an answer.

for anyone interested the sissix site has a sale on, I just bought some dies inc an alphabet for 8 quid, saves 48 quid.

Yes I've just saved £188.06 on the sizzix site! I couldnt get on it all day boxing day, but the next day I got a bit carried away as you can tell, but many of the purchases were things I had been lusting after but were too expensive before..... WoW! :mysmilie_82::mysmilie_82::mysmilie_82:
